In the age of businesses over promising and under delivering, I'm glad to say there's at least one old school family business around that promises great work and actually OVER delivers.Mike at J. DiChiara & Sons, did the design for the kitchen renovation at our first home about 10 years ago and had done such a great job that when we decided to do our kitchen over at our new house, we'd have him provide a bid.Mike's design WOW'd us (especially my wife) and his price was very reasonable (unlike some of the other quotes we got from other designers).So that was the planning stage, but what about implementation?Well, the lead contractor throughout the job, Bill, was amazing. He was in full communication with Mike, his assistants and with me. There were a few issues that came up during the job (as there always are) and Bill brought those to my attention each time, walked me through the options and really solved each issue to my satisfaction. Mike was great communicating too and because of this, there were no unexpected cost overruns which is nice to see on such a large job.The end result was an amazing kitchen transformation that my family will be happy with for many years to come. If you've ever done a kitchen reno, you know they can be stressful as we are accustomed to these comforts, but thanks to Mike and Bill, this was anything but stressful.Now we're already discussing the bathrooms!

I was very happy with Mike right from the very start when I first met him in the showroom. His worker, George, was one of the best Construction and design people I have met! Even though my kitchen was completed several years ago, I can still communicate with Mike and get help when I need him. Mike, himself, recently came to my house to help me with the soap dispenser that was installed. I would highly recommend this company for your new kitchen.

Our home needed remodeling and we got 4 estimates from different contractors. Only Mike DiChiara was the most reasonable, knowledgeable, and ready to work with us. His workers were skilled and we couldn't be happier with their work ethic and attention to detail. Mike kept us informed along the way and his top priority was always making sure we were happy with the job. The project came out beautiful and we can't wait to show it off! We highly recommend J.
