We took our kitty bucky. He was an abandoned and traumatized kitty from his past life of 4.5 years then he was dumped at a shelter with his 5 brothers and sisters and when my sister and I adopted him he wouldn't eat for 2weeks or come out from under the bed. We finally got him to come out from under the bed and he wanted to live now that he had something to live for. But after all that he has extreme anxiety and ibd ,irritable bowel disorder. So we took him to animal health center in plainville they were the kindest bunch of veterinarian doctors and nurses I have ever met especially her last name is Trapani! I am a big fan of Dr Tripani and the folks at this office. They were originally suggested to me by the Mansfield animal shelter when I adopted a cat there several years ago. I recently took my cat there for her annual check up and as usually I am very pleased with their service. The only drawback in my opinion was that they still enforce the Covid protocol of curbside dropoff of the pet. I hope that goes away soon. I cat likes them too!
With the help of a good-hearted, Local woman affiliated with a local animal shelter, I was able to bring a feral kitten that I had found on a family member's property to Plainfield Animal Health Center for prompt help. Very comfortably I was able to explain my lack of means to care for the animal properly, they were very responsive and thorough, it was obvious right away is that the animal has a broken tail and labored breathing, wheezing etcetera. If we're not for all of the kind people involved I'm afraid that this kitten's life would have been cut much sort of then it deserves
