To begin, our house is a bit of a monster - three stories and three different mediums to paint: wood siding, cedar shakes and vinyl siding on the third floor. We solicited four quotes (one contractor just kept driving and never bothered to quote). We immediately felt comfortable and confident in Daniel's understanding of our needs and his ability to deliver. His quote was fair, and we scheduled our job. Mother Nature had other ideas, though, as weather contributed to delays in the start of our job. It needs to be said that you can trust D.P. Kelley Painting to deliver on their promises! His crew was courteous, conscientious, and showed great attention to detail. He and his team guided us through the process, always providing sound advice (that we thankfully followed). We are thrilled with their work: our home has been transformed! We are having some other work done, so photos will have to wait for the moment. The most important qualities in a contractor (besides competence) are Honesty and Trust, and I can say from our experience that Daniel has earned ours.

They wrote up a quote, and then we were able to adjust a little bit to stay within our budget. Set up and take down was a breeze and the lighting looked absolutely stunning!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I hired them to clean our family cabin in the Berkshires, especially with how long it’s been since we got a deep clean. Between me, the dogs, and all the inevitable messes that come with both, I had no idea what I could expect from a cleaning service. Berkshire Family Cleaners far surpassed my expectations.
I reached out to Eddie (owner) on a Sunday afternoon, very much hoping that they would be able to quote and complete the job for my families visit the same week! Not only did he respond immediately, but he had a quote and a plan ready by Monday morning. Talk about responsiveness!

Survived COVID and has a long list of loyal customers ( I spoke with one who has been going for 37 years)Natasha took my call the day before (was very pleasant) and fit me in the next day. She then added color to my hair and did a bit of texturizing. I will now drive to Pittsfield to have my hair done!
I went to Beauty Locale for my wedding day look and was thrilled with the outcome. Jessicah and her team are quick to hear you out on what you are looking for, and meet you exactly there. I felt very listened to, and looked like "myself" Aka natural (but prettier, see pictures attached) with my hair and makeup. Beauty Locale was also tasked with doing a small army of bridesmaids' hair on my big day, to which they rose to the occasion for and left everyone feeling gorgeous!

A few years ago after giving up buzzing my head, I set out to find a barber. I tried 4 different places before finding Tom at Royal Barber Service. Tom is great! He is friendly, accommodating, he texts... I love when businesses text. We always have a good chat while I'm there. But most of all, I'm happier with my hair cuts from him than I am from the other places i visited.

I walked in without an appointment on a weekday, about 2:30 in the afternoon. I'm an old guy (70+) and the atmosphere is decidedly "hipster"....and i was greeted in a friendly manner. Two barbers each had someone in a chair, but I would be next. Good cut, great beard trim. Nice shop, well appointed; extra points for the compressed air hose at every station for thorough cleanup. I will come again. My cutter was Al, but everybody looked thorough, competent & professional. Standard pricing--cut+beard trim=$40. One minor note--they don't seem to take credit cards. Venmo or cash works. I'd prefer credit cards.

I have a future appointment booked with Cathy and her staff. I arrived too late for a walk-in, and when my cab did not arrive on time, Cathy went out of her way to assure I was not standing out in the cold and had a safe ride home. That alone meant the World to me! I must add, the salon has many assets: Primarily the kind, competent staff. I will absolutely return to this salon based on how respectfully I was treated- It has plenty of parking, is very clean, is run in a neat, professional, direct manner. I noticed how other clients were being treated: Remembered by name. Staff assured the ladies made it to their car safely in the dark by watching from the door. A ‘salon experience’ is not just about leaving with lovely nails… It is about how clients are treated. This is my place for pedicures! It is very inexpensive (32.00 for reg pedicure) and they do a great job at scrubbing my heals (which is very much needed bc I am an avid runner) and give a good massage. They dont try to sell you on "extra treatments" like most other places. They are also very friendly and remember me and my parents always. Polish usually lasts a while also.

Nice little place. Inside was clean and well lit. Daughter was happy with her haircut. Prices are reasonably what you'd expect. Good parking area right next to building. Walk ways were shoveled and clear of snow.

I used indulgence for my wedding hair and makeup, and couldn’t be happier with my choice. The group of girls were so fun and relaxed which is exactly what you need on your wedding day! Anna executed perfectly on my request for a more natural make up look that would also look good in pictures. I completely switched up my hair choice from my initial trial to an updo and Hannah nailed it. Everyone who received hair and make up were extremely impressed with their services, and I would highly recommend this salon!
I go to Bella once a month for my dip manicure. I usually show her two or three pictures and incorporate ideas from each one, then tell her to do her own thing based on the elements I like. She kills it every time! People who went to Bliss before the change in ownership may not have liked some of the workers at the time, myself included. They are gone now. You have to be patient with scheduling because Bella is on her own now, but she can get you in ASAP.

I love Polished! Amanda is a young, talented woman, and the best nail tech I've ever had. She takes her time and is very precise. Coming from NYC, it was hard to find a good nail salon and tech in the Berkshires. I've moved up to VT recently, but I drive down just to get my nails done with Amanda. Please go to Polished! It is more expensive than most salons (52.00 for gel manicure) but 150% worth it and the longest I've gone was 5 weeks, they still looked spectacular without chipping. You'd be doing yourself a favor by going here. Grateful for you all!
Nelson, Melina, and Rebecca were SO fabulous! This was my first ever pedicure, and I'm glad I came here. I joined my sister-in-law for her bday here and it was so relaxing... I got an amazing massage here! I really didn’t know what to expect, but it was the only nearby place that would take me day off for an appointment. I was impressed by how amazing the massage was, especially the head massage. She even used hot stones at the end, which was soooo soothing! I can’t wait to go back.

That was almost twenty years ago and there have been no problems with the system at all.This year I decided I wanted an air conditioner/heat split installed, so I contacted them to do the work. Mike came up quickly at a convenient time for me, explained the job, and left to work up an estimate. He called me that same evening with a price. As soon as he had the unit (in about a week), he called and set up a convenient time for me for the installation. He and Glen arrived at the designated time and installed the unit. I highly recommend LEN'S Attic Insulation & Roofing Services. I received a quote an expedient manner along with a very good explanation of process that takes place. The crew showed up on time and completed the job to my satisfaction. I was shown photos of the attic before and after the work was done. The crew were very polite and courteous. Recently, we hired S&S to take over our cleaning services and I had the pleasure of meeting with Vanessa their Operations Manager and Derek the owner. I contacted Action Pest for help with bat removal. They were my second company I contacted, as the first was not successful. The level of professionalism was evident from the first assessment / inspection. They are certified for bat removal (which is a protected species in MA) and set about sealing the house from the outside thoroughly and then when the window opened for the bat mitigation they sealed the attic from the inside. The staff at Politis Family Chiropractic are friendly and helpful! I used to come in for adjustments as a teenager many years ago because I liked the adjustment method on a bench and no neck twisting! I'm now back as an adult to address specific problems from a stress-related / repetitive strain injury. I found that getting regular adjustments over the course of a year or two helped me heal from my difficult to understand injuries faster. Dr. Garret also helped me work through paperwork for my insurance company which helped reduce the out of pocket cost of appointments. I highly recommend Politis Family Chiropractic even if you are not actively in pain like I was.
I went for the first time today with serious neck pain and had never seen a chiropractor before. The check-in process was so easy and the receptionist is very kind. The office itself is cozy and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Belanger is incredibly knowledgable and it’s clear he loves what he does. He could tell exactly where the pain was on my neck without me having to say it. He explained everything so well and was quick to change what he was doing when I was feeling discomfort.Even though it was only the first session, I can already feel some relief. I can’t wait to continue to go to my sessions to recover from this neck inflammation and continue to visit for regular adjustments. His passion for his job made me feel very excited about taking care of my body. I found Laci a while ago to surprise my boyfriend with a massage for his birthday, which he loved. I decided recently to finally treat myself with a deep therapeutic massage and she did amazing work. My career is a high stress environment, and I’m also still in school (aka tension allll the time). Laci takes the time to ask and understand why exactly you want a massage, and what areas need the most work. She worked at my knots deeply but in a slow/gentle way, and reminded me to breath through it. I also mentioned a recent medical diagnosis I have, that she wrote down to look further into it. She’s very genuine, and a phenomenal masseuse.

I came here looking for a professional deep tissue massage. This place delivered. The attendant was very skilled and did not need me to explain my situation. She started on my back and quickly identified my problem areas, methodically addressing the tension and pain points. I walked away feeling refreshed.
