“Anthony at APL, Inc. is a top-notch professional who employs the most skilled subcontractors, who were not only respectful towards my property, but my neighbors as well. Prior to starting the project, my neighbors received notification of the project from Anthony, including relevant details that might cause noise disturbances, which my neighbors very much appreciated! As the homeowner, I was always well-informed of all upcoming activities (i.e., when my heat or water to be shut off or inspector visits) and changes in scheduling due to weather or conflicts. A lockbox was always used for entry which really minimized unnecessary traffic and dirt throughout the house and allowed the contractors access when I was unavailable. The entire crew worked reasonable hours, made every effort to keep the work site clean as they worked, and protected my property by either removing items out of harm’s way or covering large items as needed. I can happily report that there were no damages to my property!APL, Inc. successfully completed many large-scale projects at my residence (installed an upgraded septic system, added 1000 sq foot of additional space that included a foundation, finished basement, and two bedrooms with an ensuite on the main floor, completely remodeled the kitchen, and repainted the entire house). At no point did I ever worry about how things would get done because Anthony’s competent team always had all the answers - I was presented with options (when applicable), warned of potential issues with my design choices, and the team was very accommodating with reasonable changes upon request.I am a very satisfied customer who expected to run into some issues along the way, but fortunately, there were none. “I cannot say enough good things About Tru Design… I had an extensive kitchen renovation, which also involved incorporating a covered porch into the project to extend the kitchen and add a mudroom… I could not believe how well it went, and I lived in my house during all of the construction! Everyone who worked on the project was spectacular! They worked every day and on some Saturdays and never missed a beat. They were all great craftsmen and I am very pleased with the result. Ken, the project manager was extraordinary in coordinating everyone who worked on the project and making sure things ran smoothly. He came to the Project every day, first thing in the morning and last thing in at night. He also stopped in from time to time during the day to make sure things were going smoothly, and he really was magnificent! Amy, the kitchen designer was wonderful! She understood exactly what I wanted and also made me aware of things I didn’t know I needed!! She made the whole process very easy and the only tasks I ended up with were purchasing the appliances And going with her to pick out the quartz for the countertops and backsplashes.I cannot recommend Tru Design highly enough!!“

“We were immediately impressed with the speed of Ivy’s response to our request for an estimate for our bathroom renovation, Marvin came out exactly the day and time that was agreed upon and got to inspecting the bathroom.A day or 2 later Ivy got back to us with a comprehensive and detailed estimate and we quickly agreed to it. Marvin again came out some time later and we informed them that since we only have 1 bathroom that it would be imperative that they do it during our yearly vacation so we could vacate our house and leave them to do the job.We took an enormous leap of faith with Mavy home improvement but once we met Marvin, we felt really good about leaving our home in his hands. Marvin and Ivy’s lines of communication during the work was more than impressive, we received almost daily updates of the work with pictures and whenever there was a design or materials question , we’d get a call from Marvin asking what we wanted done.We received word that the job was completed a full 4 days before we got home along with pictures of the completed bathroom renovation.Marvin then did a walkthrough of the job and explained all the work they did with my wife. “If I'd known about Versatile Builders sooner, I would have remodeled my full bathroom years ago! Jimmy Vo and his crew are true professionals. Starting a home renovation project can be an intimidating experience. However, from our initial meeting, Jimmy made everything easy. He patiently explained the process in detail, provided a clear estimate - outlining the steps, costs and what I would be responsible for purchasing - and, answered my multiple questions along the way. Once they started the job, Jimmy proactively communicated with me to provide status updates and to help address any hiccups that arose along the way (i.e., Lowes delivered the wrong bathtub. Within minutes, Jimmy had coordinated with the plumbers to order and pick up a new one for me the next day, using their discount!). Most importantly, he was very forthcoming about anticipated timing for project completion and managed to finish the job even earlier than expected! “Almar had done previous projects for us: replacing Storm and Entry Doors, replacing a Wood Deck with a AZEK/ Timberteck deck, and replacing Windows, a Slider, and installing a new floor when redoing our Sunroom.This project was replacing the front and side stairs with AZEK ones. Also, a large bush on each side of the front stairs had to be removed.As with the previous projects, Craig promptly met with us and provided an estimate which was thorough and complete. After approving the estimate and signing the contract, the project was started in the defined time frame. The Carpentry team did a great job. Mark and Neto did an excellent job directing the project. They promptly and successfully addressed all issues that came up. “We've just completed the process of working with KAKS for the finishing of the basement of our house. I cannot say enough good things about working with Steve and every member of the KAKS team. “First snowstorm of the season and the new snow guy I hired was a no show. Not a good way to start off winter!! I saw Mike's post for snow removal on a Quincy Facebook page and contacted him. True to his word he came down the next day and had to use a snow plow, snow blower and shovel to clear all the hard frozen snow. The equipment was top of the line and Mike was polite, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. I was really stuck; I couldn't even open my door because of the snow drifts and I never thought I would find someone reliable and hardworking and Mike is all of this and more. Thank you.“

Derek spent 2 hours with me going over everything I wanted. They recently installed new windows and doors, replaced all outside window and door trim with composite and rebuilt the deck. “We wanted to have asbestos pipe insulation removed in the basement of our new house. I had called NESM prior to the purchase to get an idea how expensive it would be. Jim was very helpful, asked a lot of detailed questions in order to give me the most accurate ballpark estimate. He also answered all of my questions patiently. When he came to the house to look at the job and give an estimate he was even telling we wouldn't need to remove the asbestos if we're not planning to be in the basement that often. He was very polite and professional and also adhered to COVID guidelines. We had to wait about 4 weeks for the crew to come (which he told me even before coming to give an in-person estimate) and everything went smoothly. However, a couple of weeks we discovered they missed a very small section at a wall. When I reached out to NESM, Jim called me right away, apologized and sent a crew the very same day to remove it at no cost. Overall I'm very pleased with the experience.“
