We recently had to put our beloved dog down and were so touched by the care and concern given by River Road, especially by Dr Jessica Flynn. River Road has had changes in staff/ownership over the years, but they always provided our pet with the best services/advice. We appreciate the lovely card sent by the office offering condolences for our loss. When we are ready for our next pet, we will continue to use River Road for pet care.“

29 N Main St, North Andover“We had a great experience at good dog aquatics with our 14 year old pug. Luis and Mary were awesome to work with and answered any questions we had while also teaching us new techniques and excersises we can do at home and in our pool to maintain our boys range of mobility, strength and endurance as he ages. We are so happy we found good dog and plan on bringing him back again in the winter months to maintain his health the best way possible. Thank you again to Luis and Mary and we highly recommend you visit them too!“

249 Andover St, Danvers“We had gone to bay state animal clinic for almost 11 years. They always gave such great care to our American bulldog and made her feel so special and loved. Over the past 2.5 years she battled Cushings disease and they were so great with helping us navigate that. When we had to finally say goodbye, they were exceptionally tender, kind, and empathetic. I’m so grateful for how they helped make those last moments so peaceful, calm, and full of love.“

374 Boston St, Topsfield“Went to two other vets recently, and I wasn't impressed. Luckily, Putnam helped my little guy fully, and I'm very thankful : ) Only request is to be a little quieter bc pets are scared, other than that, I would go back for sure. : )“

When he was attacked in the woods years ago Dr Hanson saved his life (fixing what an emergency vet did wrong). she treated seizures and did dental surgery and always cared for him with love. She is a very special Vet, your pets will be lucky to have her watching over them. Thank you Dr Hanson !“

216 Cambridge Rd, Woburn“My family been using adams for forever and I been bring my animals for 25 years. And I had to recently put one of mine down at the emergency vet on Cabot and never told them about it. And they still went out of their way to send a card and hand wrote a whole big letter about my baby and wishing my family and I their condolences. It was unexpected and the most heart felt thing to happen to me. I can't believe they went that far. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks again for the care you give to my fur babies. ❤️❤️“
“Because my puppy, my Mini Pomeranian Scarlett "Lilly Mae" is my absolute world and I will give her nothing less than the best of anything, her Doctor is important to her and I. And I sure did not just find the first office with an opening. I read reviews, I spoke with other pet owners, I researched my candidate records, I studied hard and pondered over this with a fierce energy to make sure I felt good about first the establishment, then their Veterinarian's. And then I made her appointment. Here! Just a "check up", as my favorite Urgent Care in Saugus kept telling me "she needs a doctor, I can't be her primary". And so we went. And that's when I met Doctor Dunn and his assistant. And the girls at the front desk. And Lilly made her appearance. (She owns any place she walks into!). I left feeling great, I felt like he really studied my baby with care. Didn't try to force any particular dog food on me...she's home cooked fed and he wasn't against it! And he spoke to me with respect. And offered web sites for recipes and advice. Fast forward, July 4th Lilly isn't well with fireworks. Well she began shaking her head. Rubbing at her ear. I knew I had to go back. We went back, saw Doctor Dunn again. She actually let him take cultures of her ears. Didn't want to, but did. Doctor Dunn immediately knew there was no infection. Complimented her for her clean ears (found her groomer with the same energy BTW after Petco treated her like an object and Linda's Critter Coral BUTCHERED her Pomeranian Coat almost beyond repair) and told me he thinks she has some irritability from the loud fireworks but no major damage and that time will heal it. Price for the office visit/exam went unmatched he was extremely reasonable!! The guy in my opinion is a true Vet. My understanding is that his dad is also. Very experienced, caring, understanding, and they listen! I would recommend you stop your search here and make an appointment with the lovely front desk staff!“

11 Burlington Ave, Wilmington“Dr. Kim has been so supportive and responsive every time I’ve had a concern about my dog. I can call him with a question and he calls back as soon as he can with his thoughts and if he thinks she needs to be looked at he will set up an appointment. If he doesn’t think she needs an appointment he helps us understand how we can best treat her at home.“

They are fully attentive, friendly and follow up after you've left the office. I've received personal calls from each Doctor. They are currently treating my dog for an ongoing issue so we plan on visiting them soon!“

The vet and vet tech were so kind and caring of my pup, he was in great hands the whole time. They also provided me with useful information about heartworm and flea/tick medication that I asked for as well. Very good experience, would recommend!“

8AM - 8PM
1312 Main St, Reading“To start off with I have to say the doctors, vet techs, and door greeters are great. There is a lot of staff and a few I assume are administrative. The new office is very attractive. After reading some of the reviews I can see that some of the cons are unfair because in any practice of medicine there are protocols and to make a diagnosis you do need to perform test to rule out other probable causes and many people do not understand that. I brought my dog to the clinic and was satisfied with the care. I came only because it wasn't corporate, and the Middlesex Animal Hospital closed, and its great DMV referred me. I do believe the care is superior to corporate care BUT the costs are extremely high, but I guess if you want high end service you must pay high end prices. If you are a senior and on a fixed income this is not the place for you. To sum it up, docs, techs and door greeters are very friendly and caring. If you are on social security and a fixed income this place is not for you. I was lucky enough to return to my original vet because he reopened his practice, and he has an exceptional reputation around my area and pricing for those financially constrained is affordable.“

373 Old Russell St, Woburn“We come here all the way from Marblehead! Dr Bysko diagnosed our English bulldog with a liver condition when we got her spayed (I chose Woburn bc we did a less invasive one). If we had not gone here I don’t think we’d have a proper diagnosis today. The care here is unmatched.“
“Craig Cox and his staff are beyond awesome! Watching him do an exam on your dog is so reassuring! He feels every inch for lumps bumps etc. He rotates their legs paws etc checking for limitation or pain. Orders age appropriate labs and is not an alarmist but discusses approaches with you. When it was time for us to say goodbye to our 4 th fur baby he was very supportive, accommodating and kind. I love that my dogs always saw the same vet who knew them well.we will Always be grateful to him and the BEST vet assistant ever Maria“
