“Both of our dogs come here, and the whole office couldn’t be sweeter, they know their stuff, prices are more than fair. I can’t imagine taking our dogs anywhere else!“
“Great response over the weekend along with my dog's appoint. Dr Eileen Balz was the veterinarian, she was so wonderful w me and most importantly my dog. Such a comforting feeling as she reviewed the care and medication plan along with follow up. The Vet Tech, office staff, Dominique and Lois ( office Manager) were as helpful and caring. Fully recommend DAH and if you can't get in that day, they will give you instructions on getting the next available appointment.. thanks to all Blaire is feeling so much better even after her 2nd treatments tonight.“
“I wanted to share a my positive experiences with River Road Vet. We recently had to put our beloved dog down and were so touched by the care and concern given by River Road, especially by Dr Jessica Flynn. River Road has had changes in staff/ownership over the years, but they always provided our pet with the best services/advice. We appreciate the lovely card sent by the office offering condolences for our loss. When we are ready for our next pet, we will continue to use River Road for pet care.“
“They treat every pet like they are family members. Been bringing our dog here consistently for a couple years at least and it is always great service and delivered with compassion.“
“We had a great experience at good dog aquatics with our 14 year old pug. Luis and Mary were awesome to work with and answered any questions we had while also teaching us new techniques and excersises we can do at home and in our pool to maintain our boys range of mobility, strength and endurance as he ages. We are so happy we found good dog and plan on bringing him back again in the winter months to maintain his health the best way possible. Thank you again to Luis and Mary and we highly recommend you visit them too!“
“Dr Grambow has been our vet for almost 16 years in April 2024 he is empathetic, caring and compassionate to my dog overall health care.“
“I highly recommend bringing your pets here for care. I have been for over 40 years. The staff are very kind, efficient and caring. They provide great care to all pets and their people.“
“We had gone to bay state animal clinic for almost 11 years. They always gave such great care to our American bulldog and made her feel so special and loved. Over the past 2.5 years she battled Cushings disease and they were so great with helping us navigate that. When we had to finally say goodbye, they were exceptionally tender, kind, and empathetic. I’m so grateful for how they helped make those last moments so peaceful, calm, and full of love.“
“Dr Hanson and her amazing team cared for my dog for the last 15 years including many tough times. When he was attacked in the woods years ago Dr Hanson saved his life (fixing what an emergency vet did wrong). she treated seizures and did dental surgery and always cared for him with love. She is a very special Vet, your pets will be lucky to have her watching over them. Thank you Dr Hanson !“
“My family been using adams for forever and I been bring my animals for 25 years. And I had to recently put one of mine down at the emergency vet on Cabot and never told them about it. And they still went out of their way to send a card and hand wrote a whole big letter about my baby and wishing my family and I their condolences. It was unexpected and the most heart felt thing to happen to me. I can't believe they went that far. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks again for the care you give to my fur babies. ❤️❤️“
“Went to two other vets recently, and I wasn't impressed. Luckily, Putnam helped my little guy fully, and I'm very thankful : ) Only request is to be a little quieter bc pets are scared, other than that, I would go back for sure. : )“
“Because my puppy, my Mini Pomeranian Scarlett "Lilly Mae" is my absolute world and I will give her nothing less than the best of anything, her Doctor is important to her and I. And I sure did not just find the first office with an opening. I read reviews, I spoke with other pet owners, I researched my candidate records, I studied hard and pondered over this with a fierce energy to make sure I felt good about first the establishment, then their Veterinarian's. And then I made her appointment. Here! Just a "check up", as my favorite Urgent Care in Saugus kept telling me "she needs a doctor, I can't be her primary". And so we went. And that's when I met Doctor Dunn and his assistant. And the girls at the front desk. And Lilly made her appearance. (She owns any place she walks into!). I left feeling great, I felt like he really studied my baby with care. Didn't try to force any particular dog food on me...she's home cooked fed and he wasn't against it! And he spoke to me with respect. And offered web sites for recipes and advice. Fast forward, July 4th Lilly isn't well with fireworks. Well she began shaking her head. Rubbing at her ear. I knew I had to go back. We went back, saw Doctor Dunn again. She actually let him take cultures of her ears. Didn't want to, but did. Doctor Dunn immediately knew there was no infection. Complimented her for her clean ears (found her groomer with the same energy BTW after Petco treated her like an object and Linda's Critter Coral BUTCHERED her Pomeranian Coat almost beyond repair) and told me he thinks she has some irritability from the loud fireworks but no major damage and that time will heal it. Price for the office visit/exam went unmatched he was extremely reasonable!! The guy in my opinion is a true Vet. My understanding is that his dad is also. Very experienced, caring, understanding, and they listen! I would recommend you stop your search here and make an appointment with the lovely front desk staff!“
“Dr.Kim is one of the most kind hearted veterinarians I have ever been to over all the years that I have owned my dog Bella and now my baby kitten raven ! I can not wait for my 3 year old cat Indy to meet him They are also very reasonable when it comes to pet visits and medicine ! Best Veterinarian I have ever come across!!!!!! The staff is so caring and friendly to both my pets when we have to bring them there also when I have an issue with one of my pets and I call they get me in as soon as they can which I appreciate everything they do“
“I just started taking my dog to Dr Clegg and Dr Tanner. I have nothing bad to say about them and their staff. They are fully attentive, friendly and follow up after you've left the office. I've received personal calls from each Doctor. They are currently treating my dog for an ongoing issue so we plan on visiting them soon!“
“We have been using Bulger Veterinary Hospital for many years. We have 3 German Shepherds, a cat and a hamster. Doctors are great, they don't run testing that are unnecessary and really care for the well-being of our fur babies. I would recommend them without hesitation ~“
“What a great experience we had at this place. Dr. Darryn and the Technician Nina were amazing. Very patient, communicative, respectful, honest, and very professional.
When you go to an Urgent Care Vet Clinic, emotions are usually strong and having people like them absolutely helped us feel good because we knew they were really trying to find answers to our dog's issue while also trying to make her feel comfortable.
I highly recommend this place and this great team!“
“Had a routine checkup for my dog, where he also got some shots. The office and exam rooms were both very clean. The vet and vet tech were so kind and caring of my pup, he was in great hands the whole time. They also provided me with useful information about heartworm and flea/tick medication that I asked for as well. Very good experience, would recommend!“
“Great veterinary hospital. My dog was comfortable the whole time and I was impressed with how smoothly everything went.“
“Really friendly team that is helpful and informative. The technicians care about the animals they treat. Prices are pretty standard and they honor those rates.“
“To start off with I have to say the doctors, vet techs, and door greeters are great. There is a lot of staff and a few I assume are administrative. The new office is very attractive. After reading some of the reviews I can see that some of the cons are unfair because in any practice of medicine there are protocols and to make a diagnosis you do need to perform test to rule out other probable causes and many people do not understand that. I brought my dog to the clinic and was satisfied with the care. I came only because it wasn't corporate, and the Middlesex Animal Hospital closed, and its great DMV referred me. I do believe the care is superior to corporate care BUT the costs are extremely high, but I guess if you want high end service you must pay high end prices. If you are a senior and on a fixed income this is not the place for you. To sum it up, docs, techs and door greeters are very friendly and caring. If you are on social security and a fixed income this place is not for you. I was lucky enough to return to my original vet because he reopened his practice, and he has an exceptional reputation around my area and pricing for those financially constrained is affordable.“
“Love Dr Peter Dunn! And Anne and Karen! So kind and caring. Everyone was just wonderful ? ❤ This was my first visit with our new kitty Kermit and I am so very impressed and relieved I found the perfect place for our new boy's future veterinary care! Thank you all so much!? ...Kerry Duggan“
“Doctor is a best, he knows what is the problem right away. Gives recommendations which are of the best interest for you and your pet. Very cool pet friendly facility. Very friendly stuff. This is the only vet please my anxious dog happy to go. Highly recommend.“
“The receptionist were really nice, the veterinarian she walked and talked to me through everything and she answered all my questions. She knew I was on a budget and she helped me out big time. Rika and I want to thank you!“
“The staff is always so helpful with my reactive dog. They let us come in the side door and they're very patient/gentle with her while doing the exam.“

“I'm not sure why folks are so upset with Dr. Dulca. I read all of the reviews and I don't see anyone saying that he misdiagnosed a condition on an animal. Dr. Dulca, with over 30 years of experience, runs a small operation. While some may find his demeanor less than warm and fuzzy, his no-nonsense approach has earned him a loyal following. Here's what sets Dr. Dulca apart: Honesty and Expertise: Dr. Dulca doesn't sugarcoat things. He won't upsell you on unnecessary treatments or inflate your worries. Instead, he focuses on solving real problems. If your dog doesn't need a daily gourmet diet of scrambled eggs and broiled chicken, he'll tell you - because fur babies are not human children. Affordability: Despite his extensive experience, Dr. Dulca undercharges for his services. He genuinely cares about the well-being of animals. Pandemic Commitment: When other vet offices closed their doors, Dr. Dulca kept his practice open. No sitting in cars for owners; Dr. Dulca continued to serve his community. In summary, Dr. Dulca may not be your cup of tea in terms of what you would want in a typical jovial, hand-holding vet, but his dedication, honesty, and commitment to animal welfare deserve the utmost respect. My worst day will be when he retires and sells his practice. I have been to the MSCPA in JP (incompetent diagnosis and expensive treatment), Tufts Veterinary Hospital (complete misdiagnosis), the Saugus Animal Hospital (horrible customer service), Blue Pearl (ridiculously expensive overcharging for services), and a couple of others over the years. I keep going back to Dr. Dulca because he knows what he is doing. You may not like his delivery but you can trust that he will tell you the truth. I have nothing but the utmost of professional respect for this doctor.“
“Craig Cox and his staff are beyond awesome! Watching him do an exam on your dog is so reassuring! He feels every inch for lumps bumps etc. He rotates their legs paws etc checking for limitation or pain. Orders age appropriate labs and is not an alarmist but discusses approaches with you. When it was time for us to say goodbye to our 4 th fur baby he was very supportive, accommodating and kind. I love that my dogs always saw the same vet who knew them well.we will Always be grateful to him and the BEST vet assistant ever Maria“
