Getting started with Catalyst is incredibly easy - I had a consultation with Faisal, who did a great job understanding my goals and evaluating my current fitness levels. By the next week, I had my first training appointment already on the books!
From there, I was set up working with Danny two days a week. The workouts are perfectly orchestrated across warmup/mobility, working sets, and supersets to get the heart rate up. Danny is so good at pushing you to the point of continual progress, and the best way I can describe it is the sense of sustainable progress I've had over the last year. I not only feel stronger across all major lifts, but I feel SO much more confident and in control thanks to Danny's focus on form and various supporting movements to develop balanced strength.
On top of the training expertise, all other aspects of working with Catalyst - scheduling, flexibility, social environment - are top notch. I can't recommend Catalyst enough if you're looking to progress your fitness goals, whatever they may be!“

I wanted to start exercising regularly, so I came in and talked to Brad, the owner, and he was so informative and kind and didn’t give the “gym bro” vibe that I dread at all.I started working out in the small group trainings that they offer and was astonished by how much I loved it!You do 50 minute session where you spend 9 minute on each station and this makes time fly by so fast and makes you stronger without you even noticing! It’s crazy.I wish I was still living in Waltham to come here because ever since I left I haven’t had the same fun relaxed experience at a gym.“

Jay specializes in strength training with machines and weights. He is able to customize your workout to help you achieve your desired results, and he can design modifications when you have joint pain. This is a huge advantage over going to the gym and navigating the equipment yourself. No more I can't workout because I hurt my knee, Jay will keep you moving forward without further injury. I recommend spending a couple of hours a week in Jay's gym!“

I have always worked out (weights and cardio) and I have found adding Pilates to the mix has improved my flexibility, core strength and balance. My instructor, Michelle, is exceptional. She is knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient as she introduces new moves and explains what each one is designed to do. She is also a good listener and easily adapts my routine when I had an injury or limitation. I have also watched other instructors and see that they have trusted relationships with their clients. The studio is clean and modern. I always enjoy being there and feel great when I leave. I am so glad I found Passion & Pilates and highly recommend this studio to others.“
