“We have now used Masonworks for three projects: to replace a small retaining wall (2019), build a patio into a hill (2020) , and just finished a basement. As with my previous reviews, I can say that they did exceptional work. The permit process took much longer than I anticipated, due in part to the City of Boston, but once the work began it proceeded smoothly and took the length of time Masonworks anticipated. The lead on the crew reviewed various options with me when necessary, answered all my questions, and never pressured me to make one choice over another. When the pump to the toilet began to make noise during the project I texted in the evening and I got an almost immediate response from the project manager, who was at the house first thing the next morning. They even fixed a few stones that had dislodged from the corners of the patio as it settled. The office manager would benefit from an improved bed side manner but everyone was professional and polite. I highly recommend Masonworks.“

“I can't believe how lucky I am to have found a landscaper that does artwork on the ground with living plants, trees and beautiful flowers. I've seen the designs he's done at the Melrose Post Office and Stoneham Post office and it blew me away with the selection and layout of the plants used in the design.<br><br>I called Done Right landscape to come out to my home in Stoneham and Bruce came out the same day I called. I instantly felt that he knew exactly what I was looking for by all the great ideas he gave me. He took measurements of my back and sideyard and then gave me the price.<br>He was at my home within one week after I approved the job and his team completed the entire project within 3 days. They took my weed infested yard that was all uneven and they leveled it perfectly and installed a new lawn with an irrigation system. They also pressure washed my stone steps and brick patio which now look brand new.<br><br>Bruce also helped me by removing an old pool filter, heater and pump that I've been trying to get someone to take away and no one else would.<br><br>Bruce really loves what he does and he puts everything he's got into his work and it shows. I love my new yard and I'm a customer for life! Everytime I look out at my yard I can't stop smiling. :D“

“Edgar & Sons' tree service & landscapers did a beautiful job in restoring the yards at the front, sides, and back of my house. Due to an injury, I haven't been able to keep up with the yard and it has become overgrown. They trimmed out two trees of dead wood and cut out some overhanging branches, cut back some very overgrown shrubs, cut down some volunteer tree saplings, and dealt with an invasion of vines on the garage and back fence line-- all while treating all the roses, hydrangeas, and other perennial plants and shrubs with care. They mowed the grass and trimmed the hedges, and put everything back where it belonged. It took three of their crew eight hours to do something it would have taken me a full week to do. They did a beautiful job sweeping and raking up, too. The crew chief, Avner, was polite and friendly, and the whole crew did an excellent, fast job. The price was very reasonable for all the work that had to be done. If I could give a million stars, I would, but for now I'll have to just hire them for ongoing biweekly maintenance and fall cleanup.“

“If you are looking for a great deal without sacrificing quality Eleo is the guy to go to! I value a good deal, professionalism, quality of service, and going beyond (I'm the type to go over and beyond so I appreciate when folks I work with do as well). He and team hits the mark! His quote was great, his work was great and he even did extra work, the pricing had to adjust a bit but he went beyond again to accommodate and understand his and our needs to come to a good compromise. He ended up also doing my neighbors and provided a great deal, quality and doing more than asked. We all appreciate and recommend to check the Solis team out!“

“I had a gigantic pine in my backyard and quotes had ranged from 3000 to 6000 but I have a fenced in backyard and beautiful garden. Gustavo said he could remove the tree without a crane and only needed 36 inches to get his machine in. His quote was reasonable and he was extremely responsive to texts. I couldn’t be there when he took the tree down, it all went very smoothly and I couldn’t be happier. They cleaned up the huge mess and the yard looked fine. Highly recommend Gustavo!“

Because it was large (10 ft high and more than 25 ft long), we had trouble finding someone who would take on a project of that scale, and met Mario/MACH Masonry because they had done a nice retaining wall for a neighbor of ours.Mario immediately communicated a clear timeline and cost, started on time, dealt well with a major unforeseeable demolition issue, and was a pleasure to work with.We’d recommend him and his team to anyone who has a big project.
