“I’ve been coming to this practice for about 3 years now, first with my cat then with my English bulldog. We’ve seen both Dr. Mockler and Dr. Roe and both were absolutely fantastic. My bulldog is a frequent flyer and they always take amazing care of her! They answered all my questions and were always super responsive to any of my concerns regarding my pets health. The front desk staff is super friendly, accommodating, and pleasant as well. We just moved out of the area and are so sad to leave this practice but I’d highly recommend them to anyone in the area!!!“

“I cannot recommend this vet enough.They have been incredible with my fear reactive dog. We go to Dr. O’Neil, who is not only has incredible patience with my dog but also with me (I fullllllly admit, I’m the harder one. I have terrible focus when stressed, went through premed, and work in Pharma so ask a LOT of questions).Low stress handling is a different process than a standard vet so it takes a bit of relearning but they are incredibly accommodating and will guide you through. If you know what works and doesn’t tell them. If you know something doesn’t work but don’t know how to fix it, they’ll help.Ex: My dog went in today and was absolutely refusing to go under, we talked through what worked the last time she went under while Dr. O’Neil showed pup it was nothing to be scared of. Both of us calmed down, pup started getting woozy, to get her the rest of the way they brought in a bed, a blanket, turned off the lights, and I played calming music on my phone. Pup does terribly coming out of anesthesia, so they reduced the reversal shot, they let me be the first thing she smells, sees, and feels, and as soon as she is walking we’re outta there. “While visiting in the Groton area, my almost 16 year young pup developed a UTI (urinary tract infection). It's not generally an emergency condition, but in a senior dog, it could progress quickly. I'd called several veterinary offices in the area, but none could see us for a few days because we weren't pre-registered clients.When I called Veterinary Health Care of Groton, they were willing to fit us in that afternoon. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff. I was concerned that my pup would be uncomfortable on the hard floor & suddenly, a fleece blanket appeared for her! Dr. Thomas & her staff handled my pup gently & were very attentive to me & respectful of my concerns. I believe we received wonderful service for the cost of the visit,especially for a last-minute appointment.I had explained that we were just visiting in the area, but we were treated like long-term, valued clients. If you need veterinary care in Groton, I'd definitely consider this office!“

“Dr. Walker and the rest of the staff were amazing when my sister was faced with the hardest decision she had to make for her dog. He made sure all questions were answered, all options were covered and even waited for our family to gather and say our good byes. Dr. Walker’s kind words during the process can only be described as compassionate. He even called my sister a few days later to check in on her. They made this difficult experience just a little easier. We will be forever grateful.“

“I called Dr Walsh on a Sunday evening during a snow storm . The hospital was closed but , he answered the phone and agreed to meet me at the hospital .My poodle was experiencing urinary tract infection symptoms .(bloody urine )He was able to treat my dog and give me the appropriate medications needed . My dog was looking and feeling better the next morning.I really appreciated his kindness and arriving quickly to help . I would have waited hours any other place . Thank you ?“

“I am an actual client of Harvard Family Pet Clinic and have been for 2 years. I can say that the misinformation being posted about Dr. Koretsky couldn’t be farther from the truth, and that the people leaving negative comments have not ever been to this clinic, nor do they even live in the same state.I came on here to share my input as Dr. K is not only my veterinarian but she has become my friend in the 2 years that I have been her client, and it is hurtful to see people spreading lies about her and her business. Dr. Koretsky is an advocate for all animals, including service animals being used correctly. Since leaving my original review (below), I have adopted a second kitten and continue to go to Harvard Family Pet. In the years that I have known her, she has been nothing but a fantastic veterinarian, and I would not go anywhere else. The comments from my original review remain, and I also want to add that Dr. K takes the time on her days off to help me when I need assistance or have questions. I don’t know of anyone who has a veterinarian that they can contact on a day off and/or over the weekend, and get a fast response. I would give her 100/5 stars if I could!! She has done countless things outside of her normal business hours to ensure my pets are receiving the best care, and that is the type of person she actually is. I hope that anyone reading negative comments about the clinic will not let that deter them from choosing this clinic for their pets, and will listen to an actual client. My pets are literally my children and I would not trust anyone else with them. My cats are both healthy and thriving.My original review is below:I adopted my first kitten almost a year and a half ago, and chose this pet clinic because I was looking for a smaller practice. As a first-time cat mom, I had a million questions at the beginning, and still continue to have ongoing questions about the best way to care for my cat. He is my baby, and I always want to make sure I am doing the very best for him. Dr. K and Kayla have always been super helpful and patient with me. They always take the time to explain anything and everything to me, whether it is in-person, via email, or over the phone. I am experiencing a lot of things for the first time, so I like that they don't make me feel silly for asking questions, and are always available to make recommendations. I never feel rushed during appointments, as they take the necessary time to provide care and make sure any questions are explained. A few months back, I had an emergency with my cat and they were available to answer my questions after-hours, got me scheduled first thing the following morning, provided an emergency room referral, followed-up with the emergency vet, and handled my pet insurance claim (immediately). I am very happy with this pet clinic, and I feel that I would not get the same level of care at a larger facility. They are very prompt with getting back to me whenever needed, flexible with scheduling appointments, and have very fair prices. I trust them completely with the care for my baby, and I highly recommend this vet clinic!“

“I have been going to Dr Walsh for 18 years. I started with my Boxer who was 10 when she passed from a heart attack and now I have 4 dogs all different ages and he takes excellent care of all of them. He brings us in immediately whenever there is a problem. They are not rude people they are very warm and considerate people who will do anything for their clients. They just have quirky personalities that I guess could be taken as rude to some people but that is not their intention. As for his office being outdated, that doesn’t make him a bad vet, he is an older vet and he is very honest and direct. I always appreciate his honesty because he is not afraid to send you to a specialist if the problem is more severe than he can handle. My family loves him and his staff and when he retires , it will be a loss to us.“
