“I recently went to a wake and funeral service at the Hopkinton location. Wow, have they done a phenomenal job on their expansion! It's beautiful and very spacious. The service I went to was very large and they were able to accommodate hundreds of people for it, the staff was very friendly. Not something you ever want to have to use, but we all know it is something that is needed and I know the family was happy from start to finish. I am impressed.“
“I was so grateful to have Jeff and Rachel at Hays Funeral Home at the helm for the planning for my Dad's services. It gave us such peace of mind to know Hays had our backs with even the tiniest detail. I heard from so many friends and family members afterwards about what a lovely job Hays did, and we are so glad to have had everything taken care of, so that we could focus on grieving. I hope I never have to use a funeral home again, but if I do, it will be Hays!“
“Thank you Collins Funeral for helping us through a difficult time. You helped us through the process and made it bearable and we felt very comfortable working with you. We appreciated you allowing us hold the funeral in your parlor and for the canopy at the gravesite. We still watch the video you posted. Thank you“
“Despite going through a very challenging time, we found the professionals at Chesmore to be sensitive, courteous and very much empathic in the way communicated with our family.“
“Louis is a perfect salesman for anyone facing what is a difficult decision at a painful time in life. He displayed tremendous patience and a remarkable ability to help me formulate a decision and to show me my options. His innate kindness was always evident.
My monument is exactly as ordered and the company completely took care of coordinating with the town's cemetery coordinators.“
“They did a fantastic pop-up funeral for my uncle Tommy Tough-knuckle. They even brought out Steve Balbony to run it.“
“When my mother in law passed away unexpectedly, we were all at a loss of what to do. We reached out to the funeral home of the last service I attended & I’m so glad we did. Joe Edwards was amazing. He guided us through everything & pressured us into nothing. What we appreciated most though was his empathy & humanity. You simply do not realize how important & inclusive a funeral director’s role is, until you need one. Joe’s respect for the people in his care & their loved ones comes through clearly.“
“John Matarese and John Jr. have provided A++ service to the community for decades. Personally, they provided funeral services for both of my parents and a sibling. They never tried to upsell me anything. They were reliable, extremely easy to deal with and handled everything from soup to nuts in a very caring and professional manner. I honestly don't see how they could have made the process any more gentle and straightforward. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.“
“My mother passed away last week. Ginley- Crowley did a phenomenal job arranging her wake and funeral. Jim and Kathy Ginley were attentive, sensitive, and always available to answer a question promptly. The entire staff were true professionals. I was really impressed with the whole process, it was practically seamless. At every step of the way the Ginley- Crowley team helped us honor our mom. Thank you.Steve O’ConnorHebron, CT“
“We selected Watson Colonial Funeral Home to take care of my mother's cremation and arrangements. We selected them mostly because they have been in business for 150 years and I figured they must be good. I could not have been more pleased with our decision. Dwight, the owner of Watson Colonial, was very sympathetic and compassionate. Dwight kindly spelled out everything that he would and could do for us, and he gave us so much information on what we needed to do on our own after his piece was done. After providing us with all possible options as to all his services, Dwight gave us dignified space to make our own decision for what we wanted. I would highly recommend Watson Colonial Funeral Home in your time of need and grief.“
“I cannot say enough praise about Buma-Sargent Funeral Home! My family for years has always used the services of First Sargeant's and then Buma Funeral Home.
Several years ago, my wife and I decided we wanted to be proactive with our final wishes. We wanted to save the burden not only for us, but our family as well. We contacted Betsey Buma who sent Leo Dube to meet with us at our home.
Leo was fantastic. He walked us through many options, and we picked the one that fit us best.
Unfortunately, my wife passed away this past 29th of December.
At the hospital it was such a relief not to have to go through all the hassle dealing with what to do with her remains. I was able to say we have arrangements with Buma Funeral home.
The next morning, I contacted Buma Funeral Home. I spoke with Betsey Buma who had me speak with her son Jim. Everything was handled per our wishes. Such a relief!!
Every part of our wishes and then some were met. Jim and staff were so helpful every step of the way. Jim went way beyond expectations especially helping with The Veteran's Association on the final location for my wife and my resting place.
I cannot find the words to express the care I experienced using Buma Funeral Home! THANK YOU, Jim and Betsey Buma from the very bottom of my heart!“
“Thank you for making a difficult few days much easier. Your help and guidance was greatly appreciated.“
