She evaluated my condition, talked with me about my pain and work tolerances and my near term ambitions, and crafted an approach tailored to me. She adjusts that approach at each appointment, ensuring that I continue to make progress. She clearly knows her stuff, and regularly offers suggestions and gentle pushes that move my recovery forward. “Laura is incredibly knowledgable and thoughtful in her approach. My teenage son had a serious knee injury (patellar tendon rupture and broke his tibia) and, over the course of about 3 months, Laura was cautious yet worked him through a wide range of exercises primarily in the pool when he was not able to do much on land, and then in the weight room. She made it fun, and most importantly, he progressed safely and quickly in his recovery. During the pool PT portion of my son's recovery, Laura collaborated beautifully, and multiple times, with another physical therapist who saw my son as well as the surgeon and the surgeon's office team. Laura is a lovely person who took interest in my son as an individual and also took interest in and cared about our family (as these types of injuries affect the whole family!).
