“Gary at Fitzpatrick roofing is hands down one of the best guys I have had the pleasure to do work with. Their company did our re-roofing for our Brownstone in Boston MA. Our old roof was done previously by them and even 9 years later when we has some leak problems he came out and did the patches no questions asked because it was still under warranty. So when it came time for a re-roof it was a no brainer to go with Fitzpatrick roofing again. He had even helped us our on gutter re-attachment and pigeon wire where other companies weren't interested because the job was too small. He's a guy that knows sometimes its the small jobs that keep customers happy and willing to stick with him over the years. Awesome experience and great customer service. There was an issue about the structure of my porch and Nova delayed there work and even sent a carpenter as an objective expert (he was not to be part of the roof project) to help me understand what estimates and plan was the best one for me to choose. “In January, after the first of the major wind storms this winter, I had a leak in a familiar place in the roof. It would happen once every five or six years or so depending on the gale force direction. It happened a week later with the next bad storm and I knew I had to do something immediately. Looked up roofers in Quincy, saw Secure Roofing and noted they were local with great reviews. Called them first and Mike was immediately responsive! He came over at 7:30 AM the next day, found the problem and he and his workers came back in a few hours and fixed it pronto! He was fair in price and easy with which to do business. He advised me properly and the repair has done the job throughout all of these fierce winter storms. I plan to hire him back this Spring to replace the roof. “Storm Works Roofing & Restoration is a great company to work with. Our roof was damaged by a microburst. Sean, the owner, called me back within 20 minutes. He came out the next day to secure the roof before a series of rain storms came in. Great communication! Very responsive! The first clear day a week later they had everything ready to roll. “We hired Wood Contracting to do a major bathroom and kitchen renovation project.. The bathroom project included putting in a new acoustic dropped ceiling, new drywall, a new toilet and a new sink. They installed new vinyl tile flooring in the bathroom and kitchen. Many tradesmen were involved and Wood Contracting coordinated their activities perfectly. “My husband and I engaged Mike and ICS for a complete exterior remodel on our duplex in Cambridge, which included (i) installing James Hardie siding and Azek trim, (ii) rebuilding our rotten back porch with composite decking and railings, (iii) installing roofing shingles on the mansard portion of our roof, (iv) removing insulation in our attic that had previously been improperly installed between the rafters by a prior owner, (v) installing new front and back doors, and (vi) installing new interior trim around the front and back door. We are so pleased with the final result and would definitely recommend ICS to anyone in the Cambridge/Somerville area looking for an exterior renovation/siding contractor.Given the high demand for siding contractors, we were worried that the project wouldn't be able to commence until well into the Summer of 2023, but Mike was able to fit in our project for the end of November 2022, which was great. Mike served as our primary point of contact and was communicative, easy-going and a pleasure to work with. He demonstrated a high level of expertise, as did his lead contractor on the project, and both were helpful in offering design suggestions for the back deck and trim. Even working through the cold months of November and December, the crew was on site nearly every day promptly at 8am (even the pretty cold days where we didn't expect them) and Mike was great about letting us know if they weren't coming. Mike and his crew were also very professional, even when dealing with some cranky neighbors, and took care to keep the worksite clean and as unobtrusive as possible for us and the neighbors.We ended up adding on the interior trim install to the project (which had to be re-installed as a result of replacing the front and back door that we were previously planning to do ourselves) and Mike and his crew were super easy going about the change order and didn't overcharge us.We appreciated that Mike and his team had ample experience in Cambridge. During our initial meeting with Mike to discuss the project and obtain a quote, he provided us with a long list of properties where they had installed Hardie siding denoting the color, which was very helpful and reflected that ICS stood behind its work.Thank you ICS for making our home look so beautiful!“
