She was so thorough and friendly and took her time explaining options and setting up recommendations and meetings with specialists for a particular issue I was having, as well as making a routine exam interesting and informative and actually fun. And also everyone else on staff was so friendly: when I came in again with my son, it already felt like home.“

“The service level I received here was tremendous! When my first set of replacement Lindberg lenses -- I bought the original frame and lenses there ten years ago, in 2013 -- when my first set of replacement lenses didn't feel like they were giving me the improved vision they should have, the staff quickly arranged for a new eye appointment with their in-house optometrist, made some suggestions as to how the lenses could be adjusted, then provided a replacement set, without charge. Couple of weeks later, here I am, seeing like an eagle! Lindberg glasses are not cheap, of course -- but the service here exceeds even the quality of the glasses. Best investment in my eyes I ever made!“

“I highly recommend South End Eye! The staff there (Martha, Paul& Katherine)are all very friendly and extremely helpful. I have allergies to silicone nose pads and Katherine went above and beyond to find a non-silicone pair which I’m very pleased with. I also needed a change of lens and within less than a week they were ready without any problems.They have quite a variety of eyeglasses to choose from as well. Definitely give them a try you won’t be disappointed.“

She was extremely patient with my limited mobility mother and spent as much time as my Mom needed to feel comfortable and informed regarding treatment. Sandra’s professionalism offset the fact that Tufts didn’t have any wheelchairs available for handicapped patients. If it were not for our incredible tech, this review would have only warranted 2 stars.“

“This place is amazing. I came in for an eye exam after having only dealt with a less than ideal eye dr in my home town. They were so kind and the process went wonderfully. When I picked up my new glasses I realized something was up with the prescription and they rescheduled me for a follow up exam within a week. While there Dr. Caruso listened to me and did everything she could to figure what was wrong with the prescription. Once we figured it out she apologized (which wasn’t necessary. It was actually my old eye drs who confused us both). Anywho. She sent my glasses off immediately to get the corrected lenses. I didn’t feel looked down upon for needing to redo the prescription. And instead felt supported in the whole situation. A big thank you to the whole team. And I can’t wait for my eyes to get worse so I can come again. Kidding of course.“

The space is clean, air conditioned or heated well, and how they schedule patients makes it seem like you’re the only person there at the time (I don’t like it crowded or loud). I love how it feels very patient-centered. The professionals here are very personable and kind— especially Lory and Dr. Mallampalli. Lory is my go-to person whenever I need glasses (minimal and sophisticated). I’ve always gotten compliments on how they flatter me from my coworkers and friends. “I have got eye test done before couple of times in other places but they were not as detailed as Vision North. The way my doctor asked me to choose between different powered glasses by even comparing them side my side in same view using the machine was really helpful, and made it very easy to choose between them, by not even switching the different power glasses (in which i would have to remember the last view) or blinking my eyes. Never seen any other place doing this. The guy who helped me select my frame was also helpful and spent time with me patiently to look over frames online and select the best one for me.“
