“The most holistic place I have ever done personal training. Health focused, scientifically minded, and performance and outcomes driven. Kaylee is an incredible trainer and physical therapist, and the rest of the staff at C3 shines as well. Chi, the owner of the gym brings together many years of personal and professional experience with high level athletic training, and imbues this knowledge into his team.“

“First, I really wanted to thank Master Gomes and everyone who is a part of the dojang. My son is just SO HAPPY, more confident and his hands and feet are getting stronger. I have tears in my eyes writing this because of his tremors he has been teased and bullied and also when covid started he has been harassed for being Vietnamese. I am proud to be mixed as well as both my boys but understand sometimes we get treated differently. Last Friday when he broke the board he was ecstatic! And I wanted to truly thank you all for building his confidence.“

“I started practicing a few years ago after my son started classes and love it. The practice space is huge and there are usually kids classes happening at the same time as adult classes, which makes it convenient for families. There are also lunch time classes during the week. The lunchtime classes are usually very small and it can be essentially a private lesson with a super teacher. The classes always run on time. The instruction is top notch and all the instructors are friendly, knowledgeble and approachable. Master Kim also teaches almost every day and is phenomenal. There is also light sparring on Weds and full contact sparring on Friday nights, which I've loved and would recommend. Every class is different and I've learned something new every time I've stepped on the mat.“

“I have been training at Boston Martial Arts for more than 10 years. After trying a number of different martial arts and schools, I was thrilled to find a dojo that is inclusive and diverse, offers a fun and cooperative learning environment, and teaches a really engaging and interesting art. After having had a bad experience at another dojo I realized how important it is to have a teacher that I deeply respect and whom I could see myself learning from for a very long time, and Mr. Mark Davis is that for me.I trained here throughout my grad school years and return to train whenever I can even though I no longer live in the area because the school and the art have beclme an important part of my life.Highly recommend.“

I wish I could tell you more but I don’t want to spoil all the fun. Come down and check it out for yourself. Just a trial run will have you joining and that I stand firm on.“

“So happy we found One Step Beyond! My boys (6 and 9) tried soccer, baseball, flag football, but nothing “stuck” until we discovered karate back in March 2021. Fast forward to two classes a week (soon to be 4 ?), 2 belt tests and now a competition team/weapons (all dull, nothing sharp here), my boys couldn’t be happier. Sensei Marie and Sensei Erin are wonderful with the kids and it’s a wide range of all ages and backgrounds. I can honestly say that karate has also taught my boys discipline, fitness, patience and self esteem. I highly recommend One Step Beyond!“

“i’m going to give broadway jui jitsu a 10/10. I recently became a member of this gym and let me tell you the people here are amazing. Before I knew it I had friends and training partners that I learned so much from and love terribly. Before I came to this gym I never liked working out. I love coming here and learning how to defend myself. I’ve learned so much from John, Lisa, Demetrius, Dimitri, Joe, AJ, Sensei SaPedro, Sensei Jay, Sensei Fong, Sensei Larry and of course my ukes. Do yourself a favor and join a gym you actually like by joining broadway jiu jitsu. I absolutely stumbled on a pot of gold here. I have had a blast. It’s been five months of training and I think I’ve accidentally learned how to be an assassin. It takes a lot of work to stand back up when you get knocked down a million times but I can personally say after that million and one time it gets a little easier.“
