I am an actress and I first met Sonja as a makeup artist for a commercial that we were both working on. I have worked with several makeup artists throughout my career, but within a matter of minutes I knew Sonja was superior. By lunchtime of that work day, I knew I wanted Sonja to do my makeup on my upcoming wedding day. We just clicked and she is such a skilled makeup artist. I booked her shortly after!
Fast forward to my wedding day, and Sonja exceeded all expectations. Sonja and her assistant, Christina, arrived at the venue early and were ready to start makeup a half hour early. We had a total of nine different women that got their makeup done and Sonja managed to keep our makeup schedule ahead of time. Everyone's makeup looked AMAZING. My entire bridal party raved about both Sonja and Christina.
I LOVED my makeup for the wedding day and would recommend Sonja a million times over! Do not hesitate to hire her for your wedding! She will not disappoint!

The best around! This is a family-owned, small business with super easy parking, a solid selection of glasses to pick from, and the best customer service. They are so helpful and always looking to find ways to make your experience of getting an appointment, finding the right frames, and getting your glasses quickly as easy as possible. I just broke my glasses (dumbly and totally my fault) and they helped get me into a new set immediately. When Rachel thought they might not be able to help right away, she called around to other places to find someplace local that might be able to! In the end, Adam saved the day, my new frames are beautiful, and I am a customer for life.
Roberto tore down and rebuilt our two-story front porches. We were very particular about what we wanted, and it wasn't always easy to decide. (We used special architectural columns, aluminum railings, and other things.) Roberto rose to the challenge and did a great job, despite many delays caused by weather, the permitting process, and illness--all beyond his control. He and his crew pushed through and completed the job, and it looks great! We would definitely work with him again.
I had a problem regarding a fluctuating temperature in my tub and shower, and my toilet did not always flush properly. Christopher and his son Owen of Harris Plumbing & Heating Corporation came over. They identified the problems right away and did an excellent job replacing the defective parts. I am very happy with the outcome. Christopher and Owen are very friendly and professional. Melanie has been cutting my wife's hair for about 7 years and mine for about 4- we love her! I went to the new location in Arlington. I had a Groupon for a haircut, blowdry and gloss treatment. Anthony did my hair and did a wonderful job on all fronts. My partner and I were looking for a place last minute to get pedicures and they were able to accommodate us. They were very nice and did a great job! My partner had a bruised nail and the lady working was able to take it off and clean it. I also got a gel manicure and they did a really great job! I will definitely be going back.
Katie does AMAZING nail art. I send her several pictures ahead of time and she designs exactly what I’m dreaming of. Shannon’s salon is impeccable. She wants the best working for her and it shows. She is the nicest human and cares so much for her business, her employees, and her customers and you can tell because of the way she interacts with her longtime clients. This place does a great gel manicure. They really take their time, have hot wax, and massage. It’s more reasonably priced than other places. They also painted my 5 year olds nails for $8! Highly recommend.
I have been going to this salon for years and am so glad I found Stella. I have really thick, long curly hair. She embraces my curls and I always leave feeling like a brand new woman. I call her the curl whisperer as she knows how to bring curly hair back to life. I have had trouble finding stylists in the past who are able to style my hair, but Stella is the ONE! I will never go to anyone else !

I was new to this salon today. I called in the morning and they had a cancellation and were able to fit me in. I ended up having two 3 year olds with me. Jennifer and staff were kind and welcoming, the cut was so great (and much needed) I will definitely be back and said three-year-olds would like to get their haircut there.
These folks do wonders with all types of hair. I always leave feeling glam, and get compliments on my haircut. Also, Barbara, the owner, is fast and efficient.... and fun. The salon has some later hours, too, which can be really helpful.

I went to Farah Beauty Salon to refresh the highlight of my hair and trim my hair. Farah was very professional and friendly. I consulted with her and she did a great job on my hair. She also suggested two products to use before blowing my hair with the hairdryer.

Meghan gave me a stellar manicure and pedicure - it was one of the best mani-pedi's I've had in a very long time. I cannot recommend Erin enough! I have received many facials throughout the years and this is definitely one of the best. Since this was my first time coming to Glow, Erin took her time to learn about my skincare needs and current routine. I opted for the lymphatic drainage facial which was incredibly relaxing. My skin feels super moisturized and is glowing. I will be back soon!

I dont even know where to begin other than to just say wow, in the absolute best way possible. Mina is a true artist, she is beyond talented and genuinely gifted in tattooing. She took pieces of my idea and crafted them into a drawing that was spot on, then proceeded to create a tattoo that was better than I could have ever imagined. Her attention to detail is out of this world. I will forever cherish this piece that she created for me, and will never go anywhere else but to her for any other tattoo I ever get in the future.

Jim and his son Henry came to replace some faucets for us and troubleshoot several older sink and shower faucets and drains. We have allergies in our family, and he and his son took extra care to keep us safe, which was very appreciated. They are able to come scent-free if anyone in your family is sensitive to scents! Jim is very knowledgeable and helped me order the right parts to fix everything properly. He and his son were both extremely pleasant and helpful, highly recommend!
I've been in the residential and commercial construction industry for almost 30 years, and I wish we had people like Andrew that we could hire for our projects. He's honest, thoughtful, and a really good plumber. I've recommended him to family and he's also doing work at my wife's dental office. My only hesitancy in giving this review is that he'll get too busy and he'll be harder to get when I need him. In all seriousness, he's a rare breed and I highly recommend him.

I had a phenomenal experience with Crescent Plumbing & Drain. I had a water heater in Medford that needed to be replaced immediately. My home warranty company assigned it to Crescent. Their rates were the most competitive that I saw (as I also did my own research for competitive rates). They were available two days later but when I told them it was urgent, they squeezed me in the next morning at 7 am and completed the job the same day. I had a great experience. Elizabeth did a great job communicating with me and keeping me updated. She was very patient and generous with her time and addressed all my questions and concerns. Ken did the work, and while he was replacing the heater, he noticed some other work that required follow up soon and was kind enough to point it out and take pictures for my awareness. I highly recommend Philips Electric. I hired the company to rewire two floors of my house and they did a superb job. Jeff and his assistant were meticulous and very hard working. They walked me through each step of the project along the way and were very easy to have in the house. Yes it was expensive, but I’ve always believed you get what you pay for and I would not hesitate to use Philips again.

Ever since we had moved into our home, we wanted to have our kitchen redone since it was extremely outdated. We had been looking for a contractor for some time until family friends of ours had recommended Peter and his team. We met with him and he was very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us different options based on our budget and worked with us to design a more modern, open-concept style kitchen. Peter has been in this industry for some time so he was able to recommend to us plenty of local businesses that specialize in counters, cabinets, cabinet handles, lighting, and tiles, making it easy for us to come up with the type of kitchen we wanted. Throughout the process we were impressed by Peter’s level of communication and expertise, keeping us involved in every aspect of the project, making sure we were happy with him and his team’s work. We can’t thank him and his team enough for how our kitchen turned out and would definitely use him again!

Craig's team took care of excavating the dead trees and planted new ones. They were at my house at 7am and wrapped up around 12:30. The area was completely cleaned up and freshly mulched.
They did a great job, and they made sure I understood the instructions for caring for the new trees.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of care at Arlington Smiles, and their willingness to explain in detail and with pictures the dental procedures they were recommending. I've tried a number of chiropractors over the years, and I haven't like most of them. The only one I trusted was in Norwood, a considerable distance from me, so I rarely went and suffered as a result. So I thought I would give Personal Care Chiropractic a shot when I saw the sign as I biked by. Dr. Nick Stamoulos has been great. I've been there 5-6 times already, and he's done a great job. He adjusts me every bit as well as the Norwood doctor, but even more thoroughly. He has a strength in his hands that I find comforting, like feeling that everything he's doing is controlled and within his power. Does that make sense? He also has provided stretches for me, some posture advice, and takes an active interest in my exercise regimen. I am confident I will turn to him without reservation when my somewhat chronic back issues flare up.
Nothing short of amazing. As I was playing basketball one day my knee started hurting. I went to the orthopedic doctor and did all the possible tests there are including mri and the end result was there was nothing wrong with my knee. The problem with this that my pain was so bad to the point where I couldnt stand. I eventually went to physical therapy which seem to make it better but the injury kept repeating. 8 month later, with no resolution, I headed out to Dr. Tim. What can I say, in less than 10 days, I was able to play basketball painlessly. Literally in just 10 days.

Dr potter is my main doctor for my overall health. I have my primary care and Dr.Potter. They are my team! Dr. Potter works well with other physicians. He will refer you to someone else if he feels it is best. My mother, myself, my husband, my son and now my granddaughter all rely on Dr. Potter! He is kind, understanding, and genuinely cares about you. I once had a pinched nerve in my neck and it wasn’t responding so I went to a surgeon he recommended and the surgeon told me to continue seeing Dr. Potter whole waiting for surgery. And it finally disappears 2 days before the surgery! I could not recommend him any higher. He is wonderful!
My dog Blue had his first appointment with Dr. Innis today and it was absolutely wonderful. He’s only 5 and already has osteoarthritis due to a congenital health issue. I wanted to find a place that would help support him and provide treatments to keep him comfortable in the most non-invasive way possible. I was blown away by the amount of care the team at Sleepy Dog showed Blue. He’s normally so stressed at vet visits but he was so much calmer here ?. One of my cats is super aggressive and gets turned away at vets but the vets here did a great job at handling her with care and made us feel supported. They were able to give her vaccines and bloodwork while allowing me to distract her.

Warm, relaxing and lots of personalization. Would recommend this place to anyone. Not at all like the chain places I’ve experienced.I came in with face and jaw pain and headaches from bruxism and TMJ. I didn’t know there was any treatment for this, I just thought a relaxing massage might help me stop clenching/grinding. Corey actually knew special techniques for TMJ and I left the session without the pain and headache I had had for days. Pretty amazing stuff and completely unexpected outcome.

My most frequent comment to Tom is that there should be extra letters or credentials to signify the highest skill in message therapy because prior to finding him I searched high and low for someone who could address years of tough injuries from lifting, street dancing, and boxing, and he stands alone in these respects.Tom is super knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and is just as thoughtful in conversation (if you want to talk), as he is in making sure he does his very best to remedy your challenges. Bodywork is something that makes me anxious, but Tom is such a good communicator that I feel at ease. I have had lots of massages from really nice people, but been disappointed by the results. Tom gets results, and just happens to be nice.
