“We were very satisfied overall with our experience working with NER on a large deleading project. A high priority for us was being able to keep our beautiful old windows, and NER was willing to take that on. The project took about two months, as planned, because of the window work, and they were able to make them safe for our young kids while keeping them in great shape. Li and Erik were communicative and easy to reach throughout. The inspector was happy with the results afterwards as well, which is obviously important. Despite some damage they caused to wallpaper (not near anything treated for lead) that they argued was not their responsibility to fix per the contract, we'd definitely recommend NER for another project like this.“

“Dave Bateson saved me $8500 on a major plumbing job recently done at my home. An excavator was needed and called in to dig a trench for the inside pipe installation to connect through the foundation to the city sewer system. Bateson was hired to dig the 10 X 10 foot trench.
After inspecting the job his workmen had done refilling in the trench, Dave casually asked what I paid for that particular part of the pipe laying work. When I told him the pricing he was very upset. Told me what he thought the job should have cost and pointed out that his workmen had done the majority of the work on the outside portion of this job.
An hour later Dave called me, told me he was delivering a truck load of loam, having it spread out and seeded, so I would not have to pay an additional amount to a landscaper. He felt bad that I had been charged so much. He also informed me that he would no longer be doing business with that particular plumbing company. Of course, I thanked him profusely, knowing he was under no obligation to make such a kind offer.
Later he called to tell me he'd called up the plumbing company to express his displeasure; and they now assured him they would be giving me a rebate.
The plumbing company followed up with a call from their regional manager and then their plumbing department manager to offer me the $8500 rebate, an almost 75% rebate on that portion of the job.
Dave Bateson is an honest man, running a family business, who wanted to be sure his client was treated fairly even though he was not directly responsible for the over-charges levied from the plumbing company. I cannot endorse Bateson Sewer Services enough. Dave went out of his way to make it right for me, as well as doing excellent work on their portion of the job.
I have purposely not mentioned the plumbing company by name (who BTW, do good work) because my intent is not to disparage another company who have personnel making their living from said company. I only wish to give credit where credit is due.
Bateson Sewer Services deserves credit for their humanity and empathy towards their customers. THANK YOU SINCERELY DAVE for going above and beyond!!!“
