“We have used Lakeside for a few years now and they've been great. This past week I had to put our dog down. Dr. McKenna assisted in this unpleasant task and I couldn't be more thankful for him. The professionalism and kindness I received was par excellence! I was understandably distressed and everyone was so sweet to me. Dr. McKenna was an absolute BOSS! Today when I got home from work I had a sympathy card in the mail signed by everyone at the hospital with some clippings of my dude's hair and a paw print. It was the closure we needed and we're not expecting. Lakeside Animal Hospital is where you want to bring your pet and our family thanks yall from the bottom of our hearts!“

It took a few days, but in my heart I felt that the advice and options laid out for me were honest and diverse. Binx never handled the vet well, but she did good with the team at TCP and though I balled my eyes out at their facility, they took time to comfort me and have made follow ups feel personal and professional. I received a handwritten card this week in the mail that moved me, as it was a first experience to have with a Vet office. I miss her terribly, but the card helped me feel a little more at peace. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make all the difference to some. I am grateful.“

Her nails remained longer than I'd prefer, but that too may have been because she's only a few months old. We'll return as needed.“

“What has happened…..My pets have always been under the care of MSAH. Dr. Renee is incredible and shows compassion regarding our animals. Melinda is the sharpest, well honed office manager my family has ever dealt with. That’s good on the Vet service and spot on with staff like Melinda. However, the Lakeview MSAH is extremely busy, especially since grooming terminated at the Metairie location. Things have changed in the last couple of years. The Lakeview MSAH is clearly bombarded with new patients and new pets to be groomed. It’s a shame to enter any place and see the staff burdened with an overload of people and pets. I’m disappointed that MSAH can’t provide enough employees to keep this gem of a Vet going. I know the economy is in despair currently, but people still need pet care. This type of business is not impacted by our distorted economy. That said, bring on the employees MSAH central. Don’t let a good location be in need of assistance. I look forward to see and feel less stress when MSAH central fixes this problem. ?“

“Danielle, the owner is wonderful with my dogs. This is a free roam establishment and the dogs are not caged. At my previous groomer, my dogs were always very nervous as soon as they realized where we were. They are much more relaxed now.“

“The staff at the veterinary clinic were amiable and knowledgeable. They welcomed me when I arrived and served me with great care and courtesy. I didn't get to meet the veterinarians because I was there to transport cats from a rescue for spaying/neutering, but based on my interactions with the staff, I think the vets must also be excellent.“

“Love the Dog Stop! Took a few trial and error experiences at other places. The add-ons and room service are also a great touch. Staff is always friendly and they pay attention to the details. A staff member even called me once when she noticed I had forgotten to add on a leash walk which I usually do. She didn't want Lilo to miss his walk on a sunny day. I would recommend this place to anyone!“
