“We recently had LVT floors installed. The experience with Terrell was very positive and easy to work with. They have a large selection of different types of flooring. We were very pleased with the installer Erick and his crew. They moved our furniture and also wrapped our cabinets so there would be minimal dust. I was very impressed with Erick how he took pride with his work. He even dusted the floors once he was finished. They were finished in 3 days, from demo, cleanup to laying the floors and putting back the shoe molding. The price for the flooring and install was very reasonable! Thanks for a job well done!“

“Overall, had a wonderful experience at the LL store, but had some issues with Watson Installations.Richard at the Baton Rouge store was super helpful and patient with us! He was very knowledgeable and sold us on the Duravana luxury vinyl plank. We absolutely love the product, and got a great deal on it! They had a sale running on almost all vinyl when we went, but we ultimately found a Duravana color we loved on the clearance rack. It is very scratch resistant, water-proof, and pet proof. We tried destroying the sample and couldn't! We got ~1,200 SQFT of flooring for a grand total (including install) of about $9,350. We did remove furniture ourselves, so that saved some money.I knocked one star off due to the installation (Watson Installations). I suppose this isn't technically LL Flooring, but LL coordinated the install. I was upset that in at least 3 prominent places, there were identical boards installed side-by-side. I think the flooring we ordered had 20 different patterns, so I don't see why the repeats happened side-by-side. Also, they forgot to caulk several spots where the baseboards meet the doorframe (quarter round). Lastly, the flooring should have been continuous throughout the entire house, but they installed transition pieces in each of the 3 bedroom entrances (see pics). I think the transition pieces were only necessary to cover up the fact that the boards were not installed continuously throughout the house, as the boards did not align from room to room.“

“Halpin’s Flooring America REALLY came through for me! I had an under the kitchen sink water leak that I discovered at 3:00 am while sick with the flu at the same time! My husband and I went to the the typical home supply chains only to discover that basically your on your own making choices and help is hard to find... So, off to Halpin’s. Our sales associate, James, was wonderful all while being very patient with me as I chose my flooring. On the day of installation I was more than disappointed with the installers attitude as they through the heavy flooring boxes on my ceramic tile. When they removed the existing shoe molding they tore the paint off of the baseboards and installed the shoe molding in the messiest fashion possible. When they discovered that they had to remove a 4x4 section of tile, they weren’t happy. As they hit the chisel with a hammer grout was steadily hitting the door and walls. Then “powder” floated around my living room covering everything! As I walked on the installed floor, it crunched like Rice Krispies underneath. Sooooo.... I called James. Right away the incident was addressed. Well, the padding wasn’t put down, the vinyl liner wasn’t secure and the shoe molding /baseboards were .. a mess. A rep came out to view the situation and informed me that these things would be addressed. Although it did take about a month to get extra flooring ordered and line up new installers, I’m thrilled to say that Halpin’s made it right!!! The flooring was taken up, vinyl was secured and padding put down... and the installers were very pleasant! Next Guy, who’s been with Halpin’s for years, actually put 3 coats of paint on the new shoe molding at his own home! When he came out, the baseboards were lightly sanded, the shoe molding installed and two coats of paint applied. Now, Halpin’s doesn’t paint trim, but since the baseboards and shoe molding were ruined the company came through! Mishaps happen with the best of companies but for a company to go above and beyond to please it’s customers is a hard find these days. So, thank you Halpin’s you’re a rare gem!!
