Ochsner Billing is the worse! You pay at day of service and they deny putting you in collections even when you have proof.or they cash your check and say you are in outstanding charge and ask for copies of check.they need new workers are something.i cant be the only one going thru this??
The bigness of the hospital & clinic makes the experience of hospital visits and clinic visits intimidating but the customer service of staff & employees makes visits doable. Every time I visited friends this week my watch recorded miles but what really helped was valet parking and staff members who were willing to help navigate the distances. A very long time ago there were lines painted on the floors and we could follow the red line or follow the blue line. They don't have lines any longer but they do have helpful staff to lead or tell you where you need to go. Beautiful facility but it's the human beings who are friendly and experts in care who make Ochsner Medical Center successful in healing. The care is phenomenal. Kudos for hiring above & beyond doctors, nurses, & other staff (I. E. Ward Secretary on 9th floor). Also, has safe, clean, comfortable environment. This place is a blessing to our community.
I'm at the 1514 jefferson highway. Dr Daniel Robbin, He's the worse doctor I ever had. I am a sickle cell patient with pain in my legs and he told me " the pain medicine doses you were getting over the past few years don't make any sense" in a paraphrase term. He basically told me my hematologist does not follow protocol and he's giving me the wrong doses. He does not listen to what I'm saying but it went in 1 ear out the other. If you get this doctor please ask for a switch. He does not care about patients. After he talked to me he basically went outside and told the nurse that I'm lying about my pain. I wish I can go contact somebody over him. He does not deserve to be a doctor. He doesn't listen he just gives generic answers. I have sickle cell and I asked him does he know how sickle cell pain feel. He said "I've treated others with sickle cell" that does not answer the question. If you have this doctor and you have chronic pain I recommend going to another hospital or switch doctors. I wish I can give negative ratings. Also I heard the doctor talking about me negatively outside of the door. I wish there was somebody else I can report him to. Since there isn't I'm writing my experience everywhere I can. If you get this doctor and you have chronic pain please go to another hospital or switch doctors. I was explaining my pain to him and he kept cutting me off and everything I said he had an attitude and when I was telling him my pain it went in 1 ear and out the other. He was only telling me basic answers he learned in medical school. Not to mention he said that my hematologist who's a specialist is giving me the wrong care and that he's not following protocol. Mind you this Dr robbins does not know anything about sickle cell unless it was in a book he read in medical school. He does not know how it feels to have a sickle cell pain crisis
