“I have never had anything dry cleaned but last year for Zulu Ball my dress arrived last minute and was entirely too long, and I needed it hemmed. I remember as a child my grandmother going to them and I lived down the street so I took it there the morning of. The seamstress is only around some of the time but she had me measured and fitted in no time. I came back in 2 hours and my dress was complete and perfect! $65 I thought was a bit pricy for 2- 3 inches taken off but my dress was in layers and I knew taken anywhere else it wouldn't have been finished on time and would have cost tons more. All in all, for alterations she was amazing. It was a factory dress and she kept it in tact. Thanks!“

“*So this was a 4.5 star experience but I'd rather round up than down :) It looks like it's been six years (wth) since the last review so I'd like to let everyone know I have officially found my new neighborhood cleaner! I am so damn happy with the way all of my clothing came back. It was not only done in a timely manner with a two-day turnaround, but everything was spot on! This neighborhood cleaner is adjacent to French Truck in a white building so you can easily get your coffee and errands done in a jiffy. The pricing here was PHE-NOM-EN-AL. I'm seriously mad at myself how much I was spending at a different location uptown. The staff and everyone here was super friendly and my delicate/dry-clean only items all came back in amazing condition. They even removed some deodorant marks from a silk shirt at no extra cost.“

Also, if she can't do the job or thinks that something might get messed up, she will let you know before taking it. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. I wish she could do all alterations, but other than that I love coming here and never had an issue.“

The owner went to the same men’s clothing store where it was originally purchased and bought two different colored shirts to give my husband a choice. (He returned the other one.) This was above and beyond what we expected, and we were deeply appreciative because he was so professional and responsive. This was the only time we have ever had a problem, and the way he handled rectifying the issue just cemented our loyalty to this small business owner.“
