“I had two procedures done--one on each eye. The results are great, which is the main reason I would recommend them. But the waits are pretty bad--at least an hour, up to several hours, each time I've been in. Follow up appointments took a half day of my time. I think they overbook and keep the staff backlogged every day. It appears to be a very stressful place to work.“

“This office is not closed. It has been obtained by Bluegrass Vision Group, although it's still named Hamburg Vision Center. The same staff for the most part, although Dr. Santos has departed to pursue other options, Dr. Maggard is great as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone.“

“This was one of the few places that took my vision insurance (VSP). Was seen fairly quickly and pretty impressed at how thorough the doctor evaluated my eyes. He was an older gentleman who you could tell has been in the profession for a long time and very knowledgeable. Pretty no-hassle to get in and out of the office. I'll definitely be back.“

“As always, Simpson optical is great. They've always given personal, attentive service, and Dr. Bobby is extremely nice and thorough. Though it was a stressful process, he helped rule out a lot of potential issues with my eyes when it was uncertain what was going on. My glasses have also always turned out well.If I had any complaints, it would be that they are quite busy sometimes, and don't always have enough help for how busy they can be. Also, glasses can sometimes take a couple of weeks. Other than that, everything has always been great for the two to three years I've gone there.“
