We have two dogs that we board with Marlize, a small yorkie mix and a medium size red heeler mix. Our dogs are with us 24/7 so when we have to board them it is wonderful knowing they are enjoying their time and are in a safe environment. We always select the bath option which is an added bonus picking up clean, happy dogs! Your dogs will thank you for choosing K-9 Safari over a traditional kennel.

We have been using K9 Safari for several years now and our dogs absolutely love it there. We discovered K9 Safari when searching for a place that we could board our German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety. He was a rescue and standard kennels are a 100% No Go for him. We went and checked out the K9 Safari facility and were impressed with the spaces provided for the dogs to play both inside and outside. Despite the facility being in Richmond, Marlize makes drop off and pick up convenient for clients by offering drop offs right off I75 or at various locations in Lexington. K9 Safari is a real gift in our lives as we travel often and for long periods of time to Europe. Our two standard poodles are in excellent care with Martha (Marlize) as she has a vet tech background and a wonderful non-kennel facility. The dogs run and play all day every day under the trees and then sleep in Martha's house. No screened in runs. Just fun and fresh air and play. We highly recommend K9 Safari and wouldn't dream of leaving our dogs anywhere else.
