Where do I begin? At my consultation and first meeting with Teairra Byrd, I knew I was finally going to have the look I had been trying to have with extensions that were not right and wigs that didn't fit no matter how I tried. I told her the look I wanted and she gave me some suggestions and Ms. Byrd said "I got it. Trust me." Well, today was the day and I cannot remember the last time I was this happy with my hair. Ms. Byrd is professional and FUN!!! She listens to her client just as much as she trims and styles and I love that. The quality of her work is matched by the quality of her hair. I've been coming to Salon Savvy for years and they are clean, welcoming, and everyone that leaves looks great! They provide a variety of services and have great hair stylists. I have my regular stylist (Alison) but I've used others if she was on vacation and have been pleased with them all.
The Warehouz is definitely the place to go for all of your hair-related needs. The atmosphere is cheery, peaceful, and fun! Everyone works together to make getting pampered an amazing experience. I can't say enough good things about The Warehouz Salon!

Called up there Friday 7/19/2024 to get a bad haircut fixed (fixed from a previous sports clips) and they immediately took me back & fixed it just in time for a very important interview I had in less than an hour. And free of charge for the fix they had to do. Would definitely go back. Did a fantastic job on the fix.
I had never been to this location, but I walked in on impulse to cut off about 7 inches of my hair and trust that they would give me the pixie cut/bob I've been thinking about for sometime. Best haircut in KC and it's not even close. I've lived in the area KC area for about 5 years now. Moved from Boston where there's a barber shop on every corner and everyone has their own guy/girl to cut. I needed the same out here and struggled to find it for a longggg time. Until I met Cooper and she killed it. She does a seamless fade and she's just the kindest person to chat it up with. 10 out of 10 recommend.

This was my first visit to this nail salon and Kong did an amazing job with my pedicure! The place was so clean and decorated nicely. I was greeted in a very friendly manner and didn't feel awkward like I have at other salons. I got the pedi package that included a scrub and mask and they were all individually pacakaged, which was much more sanitary than other places I've been where they just get the scrub from a jar that they keep on their carts. Will definitely continue to go here for my pedicures!

I love this place! I've only been twice, and I only get pedicures, but both times the techs have been very attentive and friendly, and done a great job. This place is actually 40 minutes from my home (I was going to a place close to home but couldn't stand having my feet butchered), but I'm willing to travel here because it's been great so far. Prices are more reasonable than where I used to go as well.

UPDATE June 4, 2024: I’m telling you, this guy is a Miracle Worker”!?? I waited too long to come back in, and eventually the nail became very sensitive and gnarly and had started growing into the skin on my big toe. He was able to trim it down to where it looks SO much better, and eliminate the source of pain. (My nail was so THICK, he even broke a pair of clippers on it! ). Plus he did a great job on all my other toenails as well?. I’m not going to wait a year to come back this time, lol. THANK YOU.
I had a BAD toenail on my right big toe. The "OLD MAN" ( he says that's what everyone calls him because he's older and most staff are young, lol) worked on my nail and did WONDERS for it!!! He did a Marvelous job, and I encourage everyone who has a renegade nail to see him!

I will ALWAYS come to Organic Nails to get my mani/pedi. I rarely request a tech because I've never had a problem with anyone who has worked on me. I went in monthly for about two years before I moved out of state. If I had to go anywhere else, it was because I was out of town. The results were often not up to standard. I'm so sad I don't live in-state anymore because I'm not able to keep up with my mani/pedi routine due to unimpressive salons near me.
So, when I come back to visit family, I make it a point to stop in at ON to get my nails done. I absolutely highly recommend Organic Nails. They are always busy, so make an appointment and be patient. They are worth the wait and every penny. ❤️

Martha is the most hospitable, sweet and talented lash artist I’ve ever used! She has done a lash lift and tint, brow wax and lash extensions on me. Her suite and bed are extremely comfortable and welcoming. She is super friendly but also lets you enjoy the treatment in a comfortable silence which makes it more relaxing IMO. She accommodated a super early morning appointment for me, making a special trip so I could get my lashes done before going out of town for two weeks. And these are the only lash extensions I have ever gotten that don’t feel like they’re pulling at my natural lashes which can sometimes hurt. The retention has been great and they look stunning and feel so comfortable. I drive about 30 mins to Martha’s and I would drive an hour, it’s so worth it for the experience and quality she provides.

I had my first appointment today and was impressed. I was seated on time which surprised me considering it was late afternoon and they were busy. Deloris gave me the exact cut I wanted and recommended products that meet my needs; did not try to oversell. I was nervous before hand because I asked for A LOT of my formerly long hair to be cut off, but couldn't be happier with the results. Will be back!

He was very affable through the process, didn't mind me asking questions, and I learned a lot from him. He completed two big jobs in less than three hours, to my perfect satisfaction (and I'm pretty picky). I thought the cost was quite reasonable. I've worked with Vielhauer for more than twelve years now, and have always been extremely satisfied. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any plumbing work you need. And I really enjoyed working with Dominic, a real professional and an excellent communicator.

They were very flexible with our schedule. They had to cancel because of a machine malfunction, but they worked us into their schedule the very next day. We had our front two rooms cleaned for a very reasonable price, they worked around our furniture and helped us move it around.

I had general fire come out to our home to repair a leak in our antifreeze system. The pricing was great, and the service was outstanding. Vern does the winterizing for my sprinklers. I had run into an issue with my sprinklers not working and called him and he provided me things to troubleshoot the issue on the phone. He was booked out for weeks so he wasn't able to come out to the house to take a look himself. I was able to fix the issue based on his guidance. He even called after hours once he was finished with the work for the today to follow-up. I offered to pay for the services even though he didn't have to come out to help me fix the issue and he wouldn't accept any money.
We used Reliance to add a bump out in our dining area for a buffet area. We love it!! Reliance, stayed on schedule, the job was done when they said it would be and Chelsea always let us know what was going on for the week. I would highly recommend them, they do great work and very easy to work with.
We have done 4 projects with Phil and his team now over the last 6 years. Construction and renovations can be messy, but it is nice to know that CPS will work through all of the issues in a fair and equitable way with you, proving a great final end product.
We had a very good experience with Blue Haven Pools having installed our pool about 3 years ago. In spite of many of the material and subcontractor shortages that were going on during Covid, our project largely ran on-time. We're now completing our 2nd full season with the pool and glad we did it. The team at Blue Haven is responsive and easy to work with. The reality of any construction project is that not everything is going to run 100% according to schedule, but Blue Haven was always good about communicating and keeping us in the loop. I'd recommend them again and have recommended them to others.

We noticed a critter climbing out of the pond in our backyard and contacted Critter Control. They came out promptly, placed a trap, and caught it the next day. They scheduled a return visit and came on time and removed the groundhog. Their charge was less than half of what another firm quoted for the service.

I had a lawnmowing company in place at the beginning of the season, but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances they shut down operations leaving me in a jam. I have seen the “Lawn Enforcement” trucks in my neighborhood, so I gave them a call. Within one day of the phone call someone was out to look at my yard to give me a quote. Within a day or two after that, someone was out to mow my two week’s worth of growth that was out of control. I cannot say enough about the service they have provided! My yard looks better than it has ever looked! I would give them 10 stars if that was an option.

Took my 6 yo son here this morning for the first time and had a great experience!!! My son has always had a lot of anxiety going to the dentist and has never had a full cleaning/check-up due to this. He was finally starting to get used to his last dentist and then we moved and I’ve been dragging my feet on setting up a dentist appointment for him. They had everything to make it a place kids WANT to go - TV’s (with Disney+), books, toys, bright colors, a prize wheel, and friendly staff! He actually told me that he was excited to go back! I would recommend this place to anyone!

We love Shawnee Crossings Dental! I struggled with dentist and trusting them. I have a lot of anxiety when it come to the dentist and they were so good with me. They were patient, aware, and great at making sure I felt comfortable. They talked to me about a plan and got to work. They didn't make me seem like a burden of make me feel overwhelmed. So glad I found them. Their whole staff is great!

I came in to the clinic August '24. I have been dealing with spinal stenosis and spinal spondylosis in my low back for 20 years and piriformis syndrome for a year. For background I am a former collegiate football player and multiple deployment USMC veteran. I was paired with Dilyn Schooley who asked lots of questions to ensure that he understood my particular circumstance. On the very first visit my pain abated and my progress has been steady in a positive direction since. We began with nerve flossing techniques, McKenzie exercises and dry needling. We worked on core exercises and graduated to various versions of the same exercise and added new ones. Between the chiropractic adjustments, PT and the home based regimen we created, I am realizing the greatest period of relief in years. My issues are chronic, and require diligence, but the progress until now, October '24, cannot be overstated. Dilyan, the amazing administrative team at the front desk are always helpful and accommodating. I can call or schedule appointments via text. I recently had a billing issue with my insurance(what else is new) and the front desk and I got it sorted. I don't do online reviews but the service and care this team provides is more than deserving. If you come here there will be a plan, it is up to you to listen and work it!
I’m forever grateful for the Team and Dr Michelle Robin. I’ve been consistent w/ small changes big shifts and self care. Everyone is kind thoughtful and nurturing. Office is respectfully quiet for personal meditation, supplements, relaxation room & books are available. I learned about Touch Points, bird dog exerting and 7min daily walking . Always feel welcomed and safe when arrive and leave feeling stronger and better w a plan. Today, after the adjustment for my upper back and neck, I was told my shoulder was out of alignment and I said Oh, that was a hurting but not anymore. Dr. Hammond and staff are the best! Clean well maintained facility. Dr. Hammond listens well and adjusts you accordingly. He suggests stretching exercises and hydration. I highly recommend this Chiropractor.

Go. You won’t regret it! My husband, 5 year old daughter and I just went in for our initial consultation and adjustment. This has been the best experience I have had stepping into any care setting EVER. Dr Dana and his staff are very knowledgeable, kind and professional. First off- The atmosphere is built to put kids at ease. I NEVER thought my kid would let someone adjust her, but it happened! Second- Everything is explained thoroughly and patiently. The questions are answered from a place of confidence, not breezed over or ignored. Third- We were never uncomfortable or embarrassed at any point. We know we are over weight and out of shape and have a long, long way to go. We weren’t fat shamed or told we are doing this or that wrong. While being direct, Dr Dana was also kind and professional, focused on helping us achieve our best selves at every stage of our journey.
After suffering a torn acl and meniscus, I subconsciously changed my walk and it was causing severe pain to manifest in my hips and back. Doc made some adjustments and after the first visit, I felt ten years younger. He’s a master.

Last month, after 5 weeks of 24/7 pain in the cervical & thoracic area. I went to CURIS & after the 1st visit, it actually allowed me to walk out differently than I had walked in. I slept through the night and finally fell "human" again. Dr. BRETT does ultrasound & adjustments on me. My pain started at my neck, down to my thoracic area & wrapped around the rib cage to my sternum. He knew how to treat the sternum & abdominal area to help with pain there as well. I am so thankful for seeing hlm. Thank you Dr. BRETT & everyone at CURIS FUNCTIONAL HEALTH!

Consultation was very thorough. All questions were answered, explanations given, x-rays taken. They meet as a team of chiropractors/physical therapist/medical staff to discuss each case and determine optimal treatment plan.
We have been going here for our daughter for about a year now. She began treatment in horrible pain- that would wake her up at night and cry. She had some terrible health issues and was really a mess. Dr Kasper met with us and was so kind and knowledgeable. We started laser therapy and the pod and my daughter is in such a better place now! Her pain level has improved so much. We also love Virginia. She’s so chatty and fun whenever we go in. We give a 10/10 and if you are on the fence about giving this a try, don’t put it off any longer!!

Great care for my dog. Was very supportive when my daughter had to put both of her dogs to sleep. Take my dog and always work with me in getting him in.
I just recently started coming here within the last few months because I wanted a new primary physician for my two cats and hadn't found one I was willing to call my veterinary team yet. I remembered living nearby in the past and how highly recommended they were by neighbors, so I started bringing my kitten here for his follow up shots and wellness checks. I wish I could remember the name of his vet, but can only brag about how loving and gentle she was to him! I had already decided after his two first kitten appointments that this would be the place I'd call home. It's affordable and every staff member shows so much love and care for every animal that walks through their doors.
To that point, my elderly cat (who had never been to this vet before) had taken up ill this last week and on a whim I called (and immediately started crying, worried about my cat) asking if there was a free appointment slot this last tuesday (day of). The person who answered the phone, Jenny, was the most KIND receptionist I've ever had the genuine pleasure of speaking with. She heard me start crying and told me "I'm here for you", which meant a world of difference for me in that moment. She then got with the vets and tried to switch around schedules to get my cat in ASAP, then promptly called me back, found a different day to schedule, gave me all the information I needed to feel good about keeping my kitty home for another day, and recommended urgent cares I could take her to for peace of mind if waiting a day would be harder for me. The compassion shown just in that interaction meant a world of difference. and calmed me down significantly.
At my cat's appointment yesterday, I told Dr. Wallis that I was worried about my cat's symptoms but only had about $400 to my name to take care of my kitty at that point in time. She was wildly understanding and very quickly worked up a treatment plan that worked for my budget but that would also do everything reasonably possible to help my cat in that moment. She stuck to it, didn't try to upsell anything (as others have mentioned for some reason), and it was finished within the hour. She got my cat exactly what she needed within the hour and I'm here writing this review right now because my cat is already back to acting more like herself thanks to the compassion and expertise she showed us. I could jump for joy seeing her already improving and knowing that my cat is in such good hands every time I'm there.
All in all, I moved to Kansas City and still drive to this veterinary office because the quality of care I've received every time I've been here has been genuine and phenomenal every time I've set foot inside, from the front desk to the doctors and everyone in between. You will not find another practice that cares so genuinely about your pets that is so understanding and reasonable on price anywhere that I can think of. I can't thank every staff member here enough for the love and relief they've brought me in the few months since I've made it my primary clinic.

Dr. Scott is amazing. We have brought our 2 rescue dogs to her for 3 years. She takes the time to make both dogs and humans feel special no matter what is needed. Her and her staff are the best and I highly recommend their services!!

Great, old school vet. Knowledgeable and I trust him. Brought our cats in with a problem and he treated the problem. Was not interested in up-selling unneeded tests/meds. Was able to get in, same-day. He only accepts cash or check.
I had my first massage at Healing Touch Massage in Shawnee Kansas today. It was incredible, Jon is amazing! A great way to start my weekend.
