“Steve's Flooring (Leawood, KS) did a carpet install on my basement stairs. Steve came to quote it and went over several options on a bit of a tricky install. He had some good suggestions - I had just painted stair trim boards, so he suggested waiting a week for install so the paint would cure and dry harder to avoid scratches if possible. Bidding was straightforward, there was no pressure, he just presented us with options and we found a good carpet that fit our budget. The installer came a week later, on time/schedule and was friendly and did a great job with helping me hide a few imperfections in my trim carpentry. Overall, a great experience and I'd recommend the company.“

“I hired Tyrer to refinish about 550 square feet of original hardwood flooring in my 100 year old Craftsman house. Some areas had been covered with carpet for at least 30 years and another area had old, sticky remnants of linoleum. There was a large damaged area that had been replaced with plywood and countless pits and dents.The Tyrer crew worked to repair the damaged areas, smooth out the dents and scratches, apply the finish, and lay the trim. Every worker was courteous and took care to protect my home by removing their shoes (which they did even without me asking) and using 2 workers to carry the heavy equipment up and down the stairs. They cleaned up after each day and were polite and friendly. When there was a piece of quarter round left over from the job, a worker asked me if I could use it, and when I told him that yes, there was an area in my kitchen that was missing a piece of base shoe, the worker installed it for me! It only took him a few minutes, but it would have been a much bigger task for me to do myself, and it was just one more example of the excellent service that I'd received.Joy really was a joy to work with on scheduling. She was very responsive, worked around my schedule, and let me know exactly what I could expect each day.Tyrer showed itself to be a quality company that cares about going the extra mile to make sure that the job is done well. My floors have been restored to their original beauty (before and after photos are attached) and I couldn't be more pleased both with the floors and also how I was treated as a customer.“

“Having a 600+ foot long lane and a lot of other concrete I have used many caulking services over the years. NOT ONE has taken the time to properly prep the surfaces or offer a warranty on their shoddy work. There is a clue there. But they were always ready to take more of my $$ If you need Caulking done, look no further ;)“

“I used Rigdon Flooring 3 years ago to recarpet my main floor and put heated tiles in my master bathroom. Excellent job! Everything still looks like new, and there is no appearance of seams in the carpeted area. In May, I had my lower level recarpeted. Once I decided on my carpet (they have a huge selection) Bob Rigdon came out and took the measurements himself. Within a week, the installers were at my home.
