“I needed to have a small minor cancerous spot removed from my shoulder, and scheduled with Dr. Whitney Fancher, the Mose Surgeon at BV. From the moment I walked in, I was treated as a welcomed guest. I didn't wait more than 5 minutes (tops) to be taken back by Theresa, Dr. Fancher's assistant. The actual procedure was completed in no time, with both Dr. Fancher and Theresa fully explaining what would happen during each step and why. Wow! This what a great experience (as far as getting something cut out of you!) Theresa did an awesome job with the initial numbing shot(s) - I barely felt a thing, and only for a second at the very beginning. Could be the location of my spot, but she was very empathetic and caring when she was administering the shot. The removal of the spot with Dr. Fancher was a non-event. They both kept me talking so that I was distracted with what was happening right next to my head.
