“Every time I go to this place I end up with a different stylist, simply because I'm the type who only needs a salon cut (trimming split ends kind of deal) a few times a year. But here's the thing, no matter who I'm placed with, they are all SO friendly and very meticulous with my requests for what I want my layers/bangs to look like. Yesterday I got Allie and oh man, what a sweetheart!! Bright colors and positive attitudes made the gray rainy Thursday into a pleasant reason to leave my house. “I went in to see Hong today. I have been going to her for at least 7 years now. While today’s appointment had changes due to the Covid19 issue, Hong and Jill were as fantastic as always. I received my appointment reminder with all the instructions that I would need about what would be different. I would need to wear a mask, they would also be wearing one, everything was clean and wiped down as always. I immediately entered and Hong was ready for me and the hand sanitizer station was right in front of me. With this being a smaller size salon, I didn’t have to worry about distancing myself or avoiding others as the salon is pretty much naturally set up that way. I couldn’t recommend this group enough. When it was time to pay, I just used my watch and was out the door!“

“First time here since Sephora transitioned to selling their products at Kohl's instead of JCPenney. It is right inside the front door and it looks so nice. I haven't been to Kohl's in years and I remember being very underwhelmed. The look of the store now is attractive and doesn't scream 'discount shopping' like it used to. The Sephora part is extremely clean, brightly lit, and well organized. They were sold out of several products which was a bummer, but they were also re-stocking at the same time, which was great to see. The two ladies working were friendly and helped me locate a product. Just like when Sephora was at JCPenney they don't have everything that is available at a stand alone Sephora store does, but they do have a good sized selection still. All of the prices are clearly marked and there were several items discounted 50%. They also have a lot of testers out to try, and as in the bigger Sephora store they have a decent selection of smaller and travel sized items located right by the checkout area. I was impressed with this store, and I will return when I'm in the area.“
