“Dawn has been my hair stylist for over 20 years now and has been my husband's stylist for over 25 years now. We moved out of Zionsville in 2012, but continue to go to Dawn for all our hair needs and we will continue to do so indefinitely. It has become MUCH more difficult to get last minute appointments as she has so many clients who go to no one but her (to me, that speaks volumes!) We try to make multiple appointments in advance so we are able to see our favorite stylist for all our needs! Throughout the years she's helped me mentally and with a different cut to try to make my hair look thicker (I have always had enough hair on my head for THREE people) when my hair fell out (over 60% of it at one point due to medical issues), She has done relaxers on my hair and has done highlights for me. She did a lot of research and was willing to try different products and methods to help relax/straighten my hair as the back became extremely curly after I had our son but the rest remained straight and it was extremely frustrating for me to style it as the texture difference caused issues. I'm NOT good with change but decided to try different cuts and now highlights since my blonde hair has become MUCH darker blonde since I'm not out in the sun as much as I used to be. She also waxes my eyebrows for me. My husband sees her every 3 weeks and we are both extremely pleased with her work and we have become lifelong friends. We know all about each other's lives, families and general "goings on" in each other's lives after so many years developing our relationships with her. She is absolutely worth the wait if you are looking for a new stylist!

Requested style: Dawn wants her clients to get what they want but WILL be honest if your hair isn't the right thickness, etc for the desired cut. She will also be honest if she thinks her client will be unhappy with a color they are thinking of dying their hair. She held sample extensions up to my face so I could see the color would be EXTREMELY unflattering for me but allowed me to make the decision myself... but she made sure I was able to make a very informed decision.
