“My entire life I have always felt small and weak, and one day I decided it was finally time to change that. My first day at this school I was so scared to go inside that I was literally trembling in my car, but I am so thankful I took a leap of faith. My sensei (Michael) and all students were so warm, encouraging, and inviting, and I immediately felt at home. I have been training here for only about a month, but I can’t speak more highly of my experience so far. Michael sees the potential in his students and has a way of bringing out their best. His classes are packed full of useful information and techniques to push you to be a better martial artist and most importantly- a better person. Try this school out- you won’t regret it!“
“Sensei Jeff has been a wonderful teacher and made me feel welcomed from the first time we met. I highly recommend looking into starting your martial arts journey here!“
“My son started taking classes a couple months ago at Adamson’s Karate. I was looking for a sport or class of some sort to help my 6 year old son have more self control, self confidence, and for him to have fun and something he has on his own. Needless to say in the short time he had been taking the classes, he is a totally different child!! He absolutely loves coming to class to learn new skills and to work on the skills he has learned. This is one of the best things I could have gotten my some involved in. The teachers are friendly and the class sizes aren’t too big. I highly recommend Adamson’s Karate. Thank you!!“
“I joined Apex a few months ago after my previous school closed down. As an adult student, I am probably seeking different things than a parent might want for their young child. And Master Stephen does a fantastic job of meeting the needs of ALL his students, regardless of age, rank, or athletic ability. He is always extremely patient and positive and makes every student feel proud of their accomplishments. He incorporates short life lessons into each class so students can learn to incorporate the focus and discipline of martial arts into everyday life. And for adults who might not be comfortable training with teens or young kids, he offers 2 classes per week that are for adults only.“
“Instructors are fantastic and I truly feel what they have doing with my child has improved her attention and focus. She is excited to go every week and we are very satisfied with our experience“
“Our children have been coming to Taekwondo Academy around 3 months and they love it! They have gained confidence and learned so much in a small amount of time. Grand Master Cottee is fun and mixed with tough instruction. Exactly what our kids needed. They can't wait for the next class!“
“Masters Jung and Choi do such a wonderful job! We have been completely satisfied with how they encourage the kids to try their hardest and respect others, along with the world class TaekwonDo they are teaching. I can’t say enough about the positive experience we’ve had there!“
“Honestly, 4.9 stars on nearly 50 reviews is underrated. The Mountains are incredible with their students. My 8 year old daughter has been in their program for about three years. Master Mountain’s lessons are not limited to the physical art. He encourages discipline, respect and focus by giving advice to young inspiring minds. We are so impressed with his life lessons and leadership. We can easily see how valuable their curriculum is for our oldest so we decided to enroll our 3 and 6 year old girls as well. The training gives me peace of mind that all three of my girls will be able to protect themselves if a situation ever arises. I am very grateful for the Mountain family and what they are doing for our community. All of these perfect reviews are spot on.“
“My kids love the classes but unfortunately I'm too busy now and is little far from me but I highly recomend it“
“Two years ago when we needed a meaningful and enriching activity for our 8-year-old son, he began studies at Chung Do Kan Tae Kwon Do. Grand Master Park's Tae Kwon Do program is tailored specifically for kids, and offers a perfect blend of fitness, discipline, and character development. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, my son is learning the fundamentals of the sport and also gaining valuable life skills such as focus, respect, and perseverance. I see my son's growth in confidence and strength both on and off the mats!“
“My 3 children went to Indiana Taekwondo for several years. They all started when they were 6 to 8 years old and continued throughout high school. Master Crays taught them Taekwondo but he also taught them respect, confidence andand how to protect themselves! He taught the art of Taekwondo! He treated them the way he wanted to be treated. I would do it all over again!I highly recommend Master Crays!“
“They rate well because they do a good job of training in self defense. They lose a star for a couple of reasons:- Junior is temperamental. You rub him the wrong way and he's going to go off on you verbally. It takes a LOT of effort to calm him down after he's triggered.- Canceling membership requires a printed letter either hand delivered or sent via certified mail. Kind of an annoyance especially if you would rather not go back into the facility.“
“My daughter has been coming here now for almost six years. She fell in love with Tae Kwon Do when Master Yoo and his staff visited her elementary school in 2018 in my daughter's first grade year just after we moved here from St. Louis. It gave her something to focus on while acclimating to her new world. Fast forward to now and she has her black belt, is on the Leadership and Performance Teams, and still loves and looks forward to practice and other activities through Master Yoo's. She has been able to march in 4th of July parades in Fishers and Carmel and has volunteered at various events promoting Master Yoo's. For a sometimes shy kid, she has gained so much confidence in her years here and I look forward to many more. Master Yoo, Gina, and all of the staff are great!“
“Both my girls have their black belts but more importantly they’re learning life lessons, discipline, respect and all the right tools to grow into the adult we’d like them to be along with the karate. More amazingly they know every kid by name. Highly recommend.“
