“I DO NOT RECOMMEND ADVANTAGE HOME HEALTH CARE!!!!!!!!!!!! During my employment with Advantage Home Health Care in New Castle. IN. I for the most part was treated very poorly. The staffers always talked very badly to me, I stated my concerns over and over to the main nurse yet they never changed their attitude with me. one cooperate staffer spoke to me very badly in front of the office staff and all because I needed a form that they had misplaced, I was forced to go to clients at times that I was uncomfortable with even though upon hiring on it was stated you can decline any patient also they are not supposed to force caregivers to go to clients if they are off yet one staffer admitted to calling me 19 times once to go to a certain client. A member of all things the cooperate once spoke to me very badly when I addressed a concern I had with the main office and did not help me with a resolution, one staffer was rude to me from day one, I called in one day due to a snow storm and had had a minor accident, I called and told her and her response was NOT 'Are you okay?' but rather she responded in a very hostile tone 'well I guess that means I have to find someone else". I mean, really, who talks to people like that? It was just insane. I now have over 1, 000 in medical bills due to stress, which upon leaving advantage the stress ceased, In closing they never fully attended to my needs and this is just a pinky full of issues I had. Which were reported, but no change in actions ever took place and so this is why I do not support Advantage Home Health Care and never will again. Oh and I also have messages of the WAY I was spoken to, it was always my fault and of course never ever the staffer's fault. The company I worked for also offered no incentives and no vacation time. They expect you to come in when they want you to come in for inservices, I was dragging in there many times when I felt horrible and really should have been home as my doctor said but they never would accept a no answer, with other places of employment I have been able to say I just can't do it now and they are like we will work something out, no worries and let us know if you need anything else at all, I mean that is the way you should treat employees, anyway I left after 10-plus years, only making 15.00 an hour and not one staff member asked my reasoning as to why I quit. I thought they appreciated me but they never did. . I truly did use to love the company and gave it my all but now it is just something I rather not think about. sandy Slaven B.“
