I love that this salon has the EASIEST online booking portal!!!!I wanted a cut so at like 6 am I looked at availability and booked a cut for around lunchtime. I went with Allie today as her available times worked best for my schedule (I've been with several of the girls here and they are all awesome!!). Just moved from Detroit to Crown Point and had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by Victor Torres. This is the best haircut I have ever received. Vic took his time cutting my hair and, in addition to doing a great job trimming and lining up my beard, he performed a terrific job lining up my hair, cutting the top, and giving me a 10/10 fade. If you live in the region, Vic Torres is the only person you should trust with your hair and beard.

During my several visits since my lifestyle adjustments caused by the pandemic (I had previously been getting cuts in Michigan City) Fernando never rushes his attentions to my grooming. Two other barbers fill the booths in his shop on the corner of Cline & US 30.

Jay cut my son’s hair, he’s 3, and he’s been cutting me for awhile. Jason literally sets the standard for professionalism and you leave with a great cut everytime. I was wanting my nails to be the closest to perfect that they could be, so I figured I should try this place out, since they boasted Professional Nail Care on the front of the building. I came with my significant other and I'm telling you, it sure was professional! We walked inside and we were helped quickly. I went with the Pedicure & Manicure. It was $55, which wasn't bad. I sat down for probably less than a minute. That was a huge plus to have the pedicure ready so quickly. I was directed to sit down for the pedicure first. The chair I sat on provided me with a decent massage. The temperature of the water was cozy! The pedicure was very detailed and I enjoyed it from start to finish. I got a nicely brushed clear coat as well. After the pedicure, I was immediately directed to a chair for the manicure. Just like the pedicure, this service was very detailed. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved to have such attention drawn to my nails. The manicure was a success at gaining my approval! The service was amazing. I was treated kindly and respectfully. Went to get my nails done for a wedding and my daughters done for fun. Taylor did my nails and I love them!!
I do not recall the name of the person that did my daughters nails but she loved them also the only down fall was 30 mins after we left my daughter went to open a sauce packet and half of the polish came off. (She was being very careful because she didn't want them to get messed up) easy fix at home.
It was awhile since I got my nails done, so I figured it was a good time to give this spot a chance.
My significant other and I walked inside. We were immediately helped. I sat down and looked at their menu before I made a choice. I ended up going with the Basic Manicure for $20 and from the Spa Pedicure section, I chose the Basic Pedicure for $30. The menu stated the Basic Manicure Includes cleaning up cuticle cutting nails buffing shaping polishing and lotion massage. The menu stated the Basic Pedicure Includes remove of cuticles and calluses and sugar scrub cutting nails and with lotion massage.
I was guided to take a seat for the Basic Pedicure first. The water felt nice. This service seemed to be lengthy, which didn’t bother me, as I wanted them to do a good job. I wish my nails were cut a little better, but they weren’t horrible. I got a clear coat and it came out nice. The massage on my chair was good.
After that, I was guided to sit down for the Basic Manicure. My nails were cut better with this service. The attention to detail was definitely present. I was pleased.
The service was good. The employee who did my services was friendly and focused.
Overall, this was a good spot to stop at. The quality was definitely better than average. I will probably come back here someday.

The salon itself is absolutely gorgeous & is the space these amazing ladies deserve! I think the fact that there’s little turn over in stylists says a lot about how it’s run too. I’ve known Sterling for years now and have had many tattoos done by him. The one I got today was a cover up of an older tattoo and what he did is just completely amazing and my favorite tattoo by far. You can’t even see the tattoo I had previously under! He’s very efficient with his work and definitely lets his OCD kick in but I’m absolutely not mad at that! He wanted to make sure every aspect of the tattoo was what I wanted before anything was done and I’m so grateful for the work he did! I will of course continue to get more by him as his work is completely phenomenal! Hands down one of the best artists!

We had Rhodes Plumbing install plumbing for a new bathroom we are putting in at our commercial building. The team did a great job installing, were very professional and at a competitive price. High integrity and very solid company to work with~we highly recommend them!
Supposedly, my house was thoroughly inspected before I signed the closing documents. But two days after getting the keys, NIPSCO shut off the gas, because in addition to finding a leak outside by the gas meter, they also found a leak behind the stove, and three leaks along the gas pipes used by the boiler. Additionally, like me, NIPSCO was not able to light the pilot to the water heater, so they shut that off too. I was told that they would not turn the gas back on until repairs were made, and they suggested that I get a new water heater as well as a new stove. Being new to the area and in 30-degree weather, I called the first plumbing business I saw. Their estimate to do repairs was $3,700. A friend suggested that I get another quote from a different business, and that’s how I “met” Lisa at “The Plumber.” After speaking with Lisa, I realized that indeed, I was about to pay far too much for the necessary repairs. In fact, after John [the plumber] finished the repairs, my final bill was $1,927. I saved $1,773 by doing business with The Plumber! But more than saving money, I feel like I did business with a company that cared about me as a person. Not only did they not inflate prices, but John went the extra mile to replace a hose on the back of the old stove that NIPSCO suggested I replace, giving me time to save for a new one! He even took the time to show me how to turn off the valve to the stove if I needed to, and he also showed me how to drain the water heater once a year, and why it was important for maintenance! The Plumber did an outstanding job for me, which began with the excellent customer service I got from Lisa. They did the work quickly, and they did it with care. I don’t know anyone who WANTS to have to hire a plumber, but if you need to, I highly recommend The Plumber in Crown Point, Indiana.
I had some basic wiring problems though out a few rooms in my house. I just couldn’t figure it out. I called Genesis Electrical Service and they sent MIKE out!!! He was extremely friendly, fast, accurate and did a really great job! I never leave reviews but he really did come in, get the job done and when he left l, I was happy. Soooo I highly recommend if you want it done right!

When I contacted Duane, he was out to quote the job right away and then had me on the schedule for installation the following week. It was much quicker than I anticipated. They did a great job, it looks very professional. Duane is very responsive and responds to any questions I have right away. The whole home generator proved itself to be a great investment. Just a month after installation we had a 12 hour power outage and it ran perfectly. This saved my basement from flooding by keeping the sump pump going the entire time. Plus we had full use of our home, air conditioning, tv, internet, kitchen, laundry, etc. for the whole duration of the power outage. Definitely recommend Duane’s electric and the Briggs and Stratton Generator!

When we met Mike, the owner of Creekside, he spent genuine time with us to understand our needs, helping us think everything through and render designs to help bring the backyard to life. He even spent time with our daughters to make them feel part of the process. Mike is very passionate about what he does and intently studies his craft. WOW, did he and his team do fantastic and exceptional work! Each phase, which included coordinating with other vendors, was seamless. His recommendations were spot on, and the attention to detail from everyone during execution was spot on. We have a lot more planned with Mike. I highly recommend Creekside for anyone doing large and small projects. Worth it!

We contacted Adam's Landscape to correct a drainage issue that had developed in the back of our property. They were able to complete the whole job in half a day and it not only looks much better but has saved us from a backyard pond and a lot of extra water in the basement. They even helped me relocate a chicken coop! These guys are great.
We had the Spring Pest Control service and our worker was Jonathon Prince. He did a great job assessing our property and found multiple hornets nests we did not even notice. In fact when I opened the door to greet him, a hornet flew into my entry way and he asked if he could enter to try and get it out. Which he did quickly and professionally. Dr. Aaron Popp is the best! Due to multiple congenital spine issues (scoliosis, lordosis/“swayback”), stress-related tension in my neck area and degenerated disks, I have been receiving regular treatment from Chiropractors for over 40 years. I switched over to Winfield Woods and Dr. Aaron a couple of years ago and am so happy I did.Dr. Aaron is very knowledgeable in all areas of spinal health as well as nutrition, exercise and other musculoskeletal issues. Most important to me, he is equally proficient at both the “old-school” style of hands-on chiropractic adjustments and the gentler, “new-school” approach that more chiropractors are now doing.I left my previous Chiropractor because they had completely moved over to the new-school approach, which just isn’t as beneficial for me. It felt more like an assembly line, just trying to process as many patients as possible and charging more to insurance for their multiple stages of adjustment and therapy. Definitely less personal, whereas Dr. Aaron takes his time with each patient to make sure he addresses any specific issues you are having each visit, in addition to routine maintenance.After an initial period of multiple old-school adjustments to get me back on track, I’ve been visiting about once a month for regular maintenance. And honestly, my spine is feeling better than it has in over 20 to 30 years, despite being in my 60’s now. Thanks so much to Dr. Aaron and all the friendly and helpful staff in the office! I called the facility after reading their reviews. Tried getting in to my Dr. but it was a 3 week wait and I was in such pain I could barely function. I walked in and was seen by Ryan Evenhouse. I was nervous and in pain but he LISTENED and explained my problem. I just had my third appointment and feel better than ever. I'm back at the gym and able to do whatever I want. Do exercises at home and will continue to see Ryan for maintenance. Would highly recommend.

I've taken my dogs here for years. They handle all of them wonderfully, even the one that isn't very animal friendly. I highly recommend this vet!

I've been taking my dogs to Smith Animal for the past year. Thankfully we haven't had any emergencies so it's been mainly preventative care and ear infections. The staff has always been great and Dr. Smith is always the Dr. we see. They have appointments that fill up pretty fast but I think they reserve some time for emergencies. How do I know this....because I had to make a really tough decision about my 18 year old cats on a Friday before a holiday weekend. I had originally planned to use from Home to Heaven but was unhappy with the communication. So on Friday morning I called Smith Animal and explained the situation. They said they had an emergency appointment they could fit me into. I arrived early...crying in my car while holding one of my cats. The staff came out to get me. Everyone was so compassionate as I bailed my eyes out in the room. The price was also over less than half the cost of the service I originally planned to use. Fast forward to today, a week later and the office sent me a handwritten condolences card.
First massage I have ever received that did not have me waking up the following day in pain. Misty addressed my numerous issues extremely well and also provided cupping which I have been unable to find locally.
Vince is a great masseur. He is very knowledgable, detailed, and has a great sense of humor. He makes sure his clients are comfortable are at ease. Highly recommend.

Just go already. The hour massage is GREAT! You're relaxed, kinks worked out and joints loosened. I tell everyone about them. Definitely worth it.

Grateful for Mike and Nerissa and the rest of the crew at the Crown Point location. Their efforts helped me in the journey of figuring out what was going on with my hip pain. They were caring, persistant, and creative in ruling out potential causes of my problems, eventually referring me to an orthopedic specialist who identitified advanced arthritis as the problem. After my hip replacement the same Physiopoint folks provided expert outpatient rehab services to get my on may way. No better place to go when you need physical therapy!
The therapists do an excellent job at OBPT. They pay close attention to my needs and pains as they are working with me. My pain is real and they know it. I appreciate that!
I feel I have not had enough exposure at Rush therapy to Provide an opinion on a person or a service. A later date would be more appropriate.
