The Big Freeze last winter damaged virtually every fixture in the house, requiring repair and replacement of virtually everything. The shower stall, for example, required complete renovation, and the toilet--along with kitchen and bathroom faucets--required replacement. Randy did it it all and I'm very pleased with the results. He cut no corners and the tile work in the shower is perfect. I would recommend him to anyone based on the quality of his work alone.Services: Tile work installation

G&G helped us with our new backyard patio area and it looks spectacular. They went above and beyond - answered every question we had, including coming out to our house several times before the work started to patiently answer all our questions, and completed the work in a very timely manner. They even helped us level our diy pergola. Made us feel like their only customer even though we know they are incredibly busy. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for any of our landscaping needs.
I’m a tenant in a home and my furnace stopped working along with my thermostat. I did everything I knew before calling my landlord. He said he would send someone out and that they would call prior to coming. Mike and another woman (did not catch her name unfortunately) called less than an hour later. They were out within 30 minutes and had me back up and running within an hour! (It ended up being a shorted wire) They were great, especially with it being the weekend. Highly recommend ✨

I've gone through a challenging hair journey with over-processing, hair loss/hair regrowth in the last four years and was able to share the ups and downs as well as my concerns moving forward. She was so kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and very thorough in making sure I had the best experience possible. I could tell that she was tailoring the experience for my hair and personal needs. I went in a couple months ago to get a specific cut and color. I had Shayna as my stylist and I had dark hair so she was very careful to ensure my hair wasn't damaged as she lifted the dark color out and highlighted it exactly how I wanted.
She worked her way to the more dramatic look I wanted for the style in the photo I showed her and since I don't use product in my hair and I air dry it, the exact look didn't show until later after I watered it down. And she said if anything needed adjusting to come back in. She really cared about wanting to ensure her clients had the best experience possible. She was very kind, fun, someone I could say "surprise me" and I felt I would like the outcome.
I have had non-stop compliments since!
For those who complain about it being hard to get in touch with them, when you leave a voicemail mail they call back and Shayna was texting me and we were exchanging ideas so she knew in advance what I was looking for and what she had to work with (how my hair currently looked). So most definitely - great communication and as for the location, I like not having to find a metered parking spot and pay $4.50 + for the time they take on my hair - which I gratefully appreciate the detail to which she works.

Heritage Hair Studio is a relaxing, cheery space. They have online booking and prices are the stylist's hourly rate. Tiffany has been my stylist for the last 10 years (wow!) and I followed her to Heritage from another salon. She provides the best guidance and keeps notes. Her attention to detail with the cut makes it low-maintenance for me. I've always been happy with product recommendations and buy my shampoo and conditioner when I'm there. Fun to get pampered.

Every single time I have had a spray tan at Sol Spa, I have been 110% pleased with the results. NEVER have any of my spray tans turned out looking orange or streaky & the results last WAY longer... unlike the results you will receive if you were to go to Sun Tan S#!*y.
Not only are the spray tans at Sol Spa WAY better quality than Sun Tan S#!*y... the staff I have met, Jerica & Samantha, were incredibly kind & patient with all of my questions.
I would NEVER recommend being the kind of person who walks in, 5 minutes prior to closing time... wanting to tan.
I have unfortunately, been that annoying person and luckily I was able to spray tan... even though I could've easily been told "No, sorry... come back tomorrow."

This beauty salon is very easy to get to, just off of 46. They can do nails, waxing, and haircuts and colors. My hairdresser Robin Sullivan understands my hair and she does a great job keeping it in line.

The nail tech did a great job on my nails! She was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant with soft music in the background and the shop is well maintained. I forgot to ask her name but her station was in the very back on the left. I got an acrylic, full set with nude pink acrylic powder. The color was such a beautiful, soft, natural pink, I opted out of color. I love her work! I considered asking her to take a little more acrylic off the top to make them thinner but decided not to. I usually prefer a much thinner nail but I realize that causes more revisits for chips and breaks. Overall, excellent job to nail tech. I'm a satisfied customer!

I had a nice time here! I’ve been getting my nails done monthly for at least two years now and I enjoyed this salon for a number of reasons. It was a solid dip manicure, great conversation, the music playlist was really good and decor is cute, and I happened to have a nail that was very damaged which they dealt with and repaired no problem. I would definitely recommend and would go back!

I recently got one row of Natural Beaded Extentions from Hollie. I have been losing volume for a year or so and this is exactly what I needed! most people think of extensions for lots of length, hair, etc but I can tell you that have serve a very real purpose for someone that has thinning hair and just wants to feel/look like themself again. Hollie did an amazing job on the install and the color! Maria was there from start to finish answering any and all questions and making sure I feel comfortable with the process and the continued maintenance.
I will highly recommend this salon to anyone looking to boost their confidence in the hair department.
I had a fantastic experience using the Mane for my wedding! James and Jacie are fun, skilled, and very talented. They offered to come to our hotel room to get ready, and their warm personalities made the morning even more enjoyable. I’ve never had my makeup professionally done, and I told Jacie that I was nervous about looking cakey or not like myself. However, in the end, Im so glad I trusted her with it because she took my worries into consideration and did the perfect soft glam look that I never could’ve achieved on my own. Plus, I didn’t have to worry about my makeup smearing or sweating off during our hot, outdoor photo shoot!
Jacie took care of both my hair and makeup, and not only was she sweet and easy to talk to, but she also absolutely nailed my hair and makeup at my trial and perfectly recreated the look for my big day. In addition, my bridesmaids and mother-in-law got their hair and/or makeup done by Jacie and James, and their experiences were equally positive. Everyone ended up looking and feeling gorgeous for the big day, and they played a huge role in that! :)

I walked in at this sweet salon to get the new hair I'm growing after cancer treatments cleaned up. Tracy informed me they were booked for several weeks, but squeezed me in for a 10 minute trim. She didn't realize how comforting for me that was as I was already unsure where to go to get this done on short notice. The vibe of the salon is calming and welcoming, yet Tracy has a vibrant energy which feeds the soul! I truly had an amazing experience which gave me the confidence and energy to keep moving forward! Thank you, Tracy, for taking the time to get rid of my fuzzy neck and making me feel great! I can't wait to get on their regular schedule.

Even when living abroad, I would try to book an appointment with her any time I was back in Bloomington, and there has never been a cut or color that I've been unhappy with. Laura does any amazing job! She is also extremely kind and fun to talk to. I’ve been going to her for over a year. She makes lash extensions look so natural and they last. My lash’s are naturally blonde/light brown and I’m not a huge make up person so love not having to use mascara.

Got my first tattoo at Three Links on a Friday walk in day. The BEST PLACE EVER!!! Everyone was super nice and welcoming and made the entire process super easy going and pain free! I made connections right away *didn't catch either guys name, but they were incredibly easy going*. Could not recommend Three Links enough!! I had my own design that I wanted, not a flash design, and the tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it. If you come on a walk in day, be prepared to be on a wait list for a while, but its 100% worth it!
The absolute best place for piercings in Bloomington in 2024. During my first couple years of college I steered clear of this place because of (unbacked) rumors of poor quality piercings…THIS COULD NOT BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH.
DISCLAIMER: I am not making a comparative post to put down other places in town (which is why I’m doing it on this page and not theirs). I also am literally just a student and have no personal relation or loyalty to anyone at Crystal Moon and have only been going for the past year so I have no motivations. I am writing this review for the overly anxious and/or disabled body mod enjoyer who will over analyze every bad review for every shop in town to try to make the best decision- like me. I hope you will consider Crystal Moon.
That being said, I don’t think it is being talked about enough but these rumors are actively being perpetuated BY other shops and piercers in Bloomington, and I have heard it first hand. It is my impression that because (I am pretty sure) some of the other shops have been here longer, they are threatened by the business Annie and her team bring in and think it is somehow acceptable or professional to make unbacked claims about the cleanliness or quality of Crystal Moon. I hope my story provides clarity of what, from the customer’s perspective, is really up with piercers in Bloomington.
My previous piercing shop in particular (whose name I will omit) that is very highly rated drove me out, because despite the fact that they do provide decent quality piercings, they uphold a culture of exclusivity, elitism, and negativity. I was talked to as if I was stupid in situations where I wasn’t familiar with a specific kind of piercing or jewelry, belittled for dropping in without an appointment to pick up already ordered jewelry (after I had spoken on the phone with another staff to ensure that this was okay), and generally was looked down on for having body mods without being 100,000% invested in everything to do with the culture. As you can imagine this makes their customer service subpar and my piercing and shopping experiences with them became an anxious task. Because of this, I decided to take a chance on some other shops in town. Some of the lower rated shops had decent customer service and nice jewelry but based on actual experience of what I saw going into the shops, a generally lower standard of cleanliness so I never chanced getting any piercings with them.
At Crystal Moon- Logan who is typically at the desk is personable, funny, and knowledgeable. I am a bit of an awkward/ socially anxious person but they have never failed to make me feel welcome and calm. Logan did my conch during their piercing apprenticeship and with Annie’s guidance left me with a rocking new addition.
Annie has always been very professional, efficient, and realistic about what I can expect out of a piercing experience. I recently had Annie pierce my navel, she was thorough in her marking of the placement, as I have a bigger stomach so things shift around when laying down, standing up, etc. and we had to do a floating navel which can be a bit trickier. Later, I experienced some normal swelling and needed to switch to a larger bar. Annie and Logan switched this out for me at no extra charge for the jewelry. Additionally, I am disabled in many fashions and so sometimes my body doesn’t heal as quickly or as regularly as a typical person’s would. Despite my longer heal time and increased risk for complications, Logan has gone above and beyond in providing continued guidance for healing trial and error within my unusual circumstances.
Ultimately, I have never heard anything explicitly rude or demeaning towards any clients, other shops, each other, or just in general from the staff at Crystal Moon. The staff of Crystal Moon maintain professional but personable attitudes, upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, responsibility, personal conduct, and customer service.
I plan to continue my business with Crystal Moon for all my piercing need

This is one of the best places to go for tattoos/piercings. Everyone is very welcoming, understanding and very sweet. Sarah was the one who did my septum, and she was absolutely amazing. Even though I have a deviated septum, she made it look perfect and straight. I now understand why this was my mom's favorite place to go. I can 100% say that I will be back again in the near future and now have a go to place for my piercings and tattoos.

We contacted Mann Plumbing and asked for Donnie to come to the house to replace a shutoff valve. He had been to our house over a year ago. There was a time available the next day. The scheduler was friendly and efficient. After making the appt., my wife and I decided also to change out a toilet and replace a tub/shower valve, head and tub spout. We called back to ask about the added work and were assured it could be completed possibly on the day of the appt. or the next morning. I called this company to help with a commercial refrigeration and they did a prompt and quick job replacing the compressor. I called them again and they ordered me a door which took a little bit of time to get the hinges, this was a supply and demand issue not on their part. I highly recommend this company.
We were gifted a Riccar from a family member and it is our first time owning a non “disposable” vacuum. It was running extremely loud so we brought it in to see what the damage was. We were expecting $100-200 and a couple days minimum to fix and tune up. They were so nice, and immediately identified and fixed the problem for $50 and got it back to us same day. Needless to say, we are thrilled and hope to continue to service our new favorite appliance with them for a while.

Had a Sunday issue with our DIL locked out of her car in Bloomington and called F and J because they were open. Very quick service, was a bit concerned about paying in advance but wanted to take care of everything quickly. I needed 2 keys for my SUV. The key I had been using for years stopped working, not unlocking the doors and it would no longer work in the ignition. The guys done a great job fixing the 1 that quit working and also made me a new one. They even tried them on my SUV to make sure they worked properly. My dryer quit and had to have a new heater and had to have it replaced but the guy said the vent to my dryer was clogged and needed to be cleaned out before using the dryer again. They had come a year ago and cleaned it for me but it had become clogged from a flaw in the passage way. They were prompt coming to unclog it and did not quit until they got it completely unclogged. They hooked my fixed dryer back up and it all worked great. I told them they were awesome and did not charge me because of the clog after coming. They are honest and professional!!!! Will have them back to keep my vent cleaned out yearly. Highly recommended!!! Thanks for getting me back on my feet with my dryer.

After a flat tire on I-69 during a 3 hour road trip- I stopped in at the closest Walmart to have a new tire put on. The staff at the desk were so friendly. (He was also very patient with other guest who came to the counter) The techs checked out the flat tire to see if they could repair it first. I did not ask them to do this and I thought that was so nice of them. They were trying to save me $60. (Repair vs. replace) They thought that they could repair it but once they got in and fully checked out the tire, they came to the conclusion that it was too damaged on the inside. So thankful for their knowledge and caring customer service. It was an expense that was unplanned but I would have paid more if I had to. They have a great crew in the tire center. It wasn't just the service they provided to us but to everyone they came face to face with. All of the staff who worked back there around 2pm on 8/27 deserve recognition! Keep it up guys (and a young lady too- I didn't speak with her but she was nice and had a wonderful attitude with other people as well)

Bought a new-build home and the first thing I wanted to do was get the garage floor coated. I talked to several companies around Bloomington but he was by far easiest to communicate with. His pricing was in line with what I was expecting to pay, and he did a great job. Did not rush and spent a lot of time on prep, which is a good thing, and the floor came out amazing. A few months later I elevated the water heater and he came back out to fill in the uncoated area where it had been sitting on the ground, and you’d never know it was a “patch” done after the fact. Would definitely recommend.

He is also an excellent communicator who can and does explain what he plans to do and why, and if anything changes based on what he finds once they start, he comes back to you with detailed information and recommendations for going forward. I needed residential service with my HVAC, so he had me speak to the right person and they were at my house within a few hours. I had a bad HVAC clog and it was leaking under my hardwood floors. They were very knowledgeable and explained to me each thing they were checking and fixing. They also gave helpful information and tips how prevent future clogs. Dr. Pribble is simply the best— he is brilliantly discerning and precise when treating an issue, he has an impressive range of tools, and he is clear-eyed, compassionate and optimistic when discussing problems and avenues forward. If it weren’t for BSW, I probably wouldn’t be able to live in Bloomington because I have a number of tricky structural and soft tissue issues that flare up regularly. Over the past few years, though, I have healed in transformative ways using a variety of modalities—soft tissue work with Dr. Pribble has been essential in my process. Having an ongoing relationship with Dr. Pribble, too, gives me the confidence to keep building strength and going deeper in my healing because I’m confident that no matter what comes up, we can work on it and it will get better. Dr. John not only is treating my hip/back pain but he is treating my ankle pain too. I’ve been to MANY different chiropractors. John is the first one who truly seemed to care about my issues. What an incredible vet practice! I was visiting from out of state with a frail and premature newborn kitten who suddenly aspirated and was struggling to breathe. They fit her in and saw her 30 minutes prior to closing on a Friday evening, just before closing for a holiday weekend. Unfortunately she had to be humanely euthanized, but the office staff and vet couldn’t have been more compassionate & caring! To top it off, they didn’t even charge me for the euthanasia. If I lived locally I would definitely choose this vet practice!!!

I see Morgan once a month. She is very in tune with what's happening in my body. She addresses all of my issues... even the ones I may have forgotten to mention before the massage began. She's efficient, timely and professional. The massage room is always welcoming (peaceful sounds, extremely clean and very pleasant oils diffusing). The price is reasonable for the amazing product that you get! I always leave floating Get an appointment, you won't be sorry!

I always feel like the effects of Jessica's massages last longer than other massages - not only on my body but also on my mind. I always leave feeling very open hearted. She conducts her massages with utmost thoughtfulness and care and you can feel it in every touch. She is wonderful at making you feel SEEN.She is also great at targeting key areas that need attention - I came to her once with a specific issue and she pulled out an anatomy book and we worked though the possible causes of my pain together. With her help, I was able to mitigate many of the contributing factors and eradicate a lot of the pain I was having!Do yourself a treat and book a massage with Jessica :)
Greta is fantastic! Not only does she heal the body, but the soul. After moving from Bloomington to Indy, I’ve tried many massage therapists, but nothing quite compares to the transcendental experience Greta provides. She is definitely worth the drive!

A Heavenly Escape - The Best Spa Experience Ever! My therapist was incredibly skilled, attentive, and intuitive, making sure to focus on all the areas that needed the most attention. The facilities were immaculate, beautifully designed, and exuded a sense of calm and comfort. I will definitely be returning soon!
