Dr. Daisy Mendez from the moment you meet her you feel at ease and comfortable, especially when you are unsure and want to ask questions about any concerns you may have, she is also extremely through in her exams and gives you the time to understand the process. They are awesome! I love the Dazzle Dry which I have had in another nail salons in the area (note: I have had trouble getting Dazzle Dry when traveling to other parts of the country -- they have never heard of it!) In any case, the Dazzle Dry manicure I get at Strong Nail City lasts much longer than at other salons. This last one lasted 2-1/2 weeks -- and my nails tend to chip easily.
My husband had the most incredible massage with Gina. It was relaxing but also incredibly productive, working through knots and tons of tension. Gina listened to his comments and also was a complete expert. Highly recommend Gina and he will rebook again.

I've had Bashy Bash (when they had a different name) do balloons for me in the past. I wanted festive, affordable decorations for my daughter's kiddush following her bat mitzvah service so reached out to them to see if they could do a balloon arch and balloon centerpieces. Lilia was super responsive and within a day even sent me perfect samples of what the centerpieces would look like. We decided we would add cards to each centerpiece with QR codes that described my daughter's mitzvah project so I dropped them off in their adorable store in Winnetka beforehand.The arch was set up on Friday so we were able to use it for our Friday night dinner and Sat festivities...and then she dropped off the centerpieces on Saturday. When I walked into the room it was super bright and festive, which was exactly what we were going for. I've learned thru my years of party planning there are many options when it comes to balloons, but Bashy Bash is fairly prices, reliable and does a great job. Plus it's nice that they have a storefront for those who want to go figure out their balloon options in person.

A few years ago I was struggling with pretty severe upper back pain (likely stress induced). Massage (my usual go-to) was not helping, and I was convinced that something needed to be released from my body. Wet cupping WORKED! About halfway through treatment, I was able to take a deep breath for the first time in months. I go back regularly now, and I always feel amazing afterwards. This is a healing modality for the body, mind, and spirit. Highly, highly recommend!!!!
Dr Bob is wonderful - extremely knowledgeable and effective. Three other things. He's honest - if he doesn't think he can help with a problem, he says so upfront. Second, he doesn't do manipulation, which I've always been uncomfortable with. And finally, he's enjoyable to work with. Dr Bob is by far the best DC either my wife or I have worked with.

From the very beginning, Liz made me feel at ease and confident. On the day of the photoshoot, both Liz and Rosie, the makeup artist, greeted me warmly. The personalized experience was exceptional. Liz meticulously guided me through each step—from selecting my outfits to hand placement and poses—all of which made me feel empowered and beautiful. She also took the time to understand who the photos were for, adding an extra layer of personalization. I had an incredible time, and the photos turned out stunning. Julie Dynek was fantastic for our Reiki and reading session. Not only did she create an environment and experience to open ourselves up, but her guidance led to an even more meaningful experience. I went with my husband, and he is newer to energy work (background in science, so the research is what brought him initial understanding of energy), and I have been so inclined since I was little. Dr. Samantha Cooper is truly a dream! Over our 6 month time together, she adjusted my therapy to exactly what I needed to progress my mobility after a badly broken wrist. She took time, care and never made me feel rushed as she worked on me manually each session for 30-45 minutes. This attention and physicality of her work is something that truly sets Dr. Cooper apart from others in the field who would just focus on exercises that truly can't heal without everything else working. I will miss Dr. Cooper and she became part of my daily life and routine - her flexibility, her candor and her advice.
I visited Optique for the first time for an eye related issue this week and was extremely impressed. Do not let the fact only three brilliant Yelpers have weighed in. My guess is most are so relaxed and thrilled when they leave and simply don't think about Yelping. Or, gasp, they don't Yelp. Nusheen is everything one could want from skincare, treatments, and waxing. She is a master with eyebrows. No one does waxing better! Nusheen is talented, lovely, kind, brilliant, and highly skilled. There many available skin care treatments but I have no experience. However, If you look at the women leaving, you will see how great they look. Men may also use her services but I have only seen women. I would inquire if interested. Nusheen has been here for quite a while and I make a point of coming each time I'm in town. One feels welcome the second you walk through the door. It is naturally light and airy. The open area is comfortable and relaxing. If you need skin care, products, or waxing, this is the place!!

This is definitely the place to go. This cleaners is so clean with a very nice store front. The owners are a husband and wife who are unbelievably nice- always smiling, are hard workers, and do what they say they are going to do. The husband even escorted me out in the rain with an umbrella once, as he got rained on! They do a wonderful job with dry cleaning and alterations.Service: Alterations
Freddy is awesome!! I was in the Chicago area recently and my son needed a haircut. I heard Freddy was the guy to see so we headed over for a cut. He was amazing and took his time to cut my son's hair to his request. Everyone we interacted with at the barber shop were professional and friendly. The shop was clean and well-kept with plenty of street parking. I now know why North Short Barber Shop is such highly rated on Yelp. I'm happy to add a 5-star review here! I cannot stress enough how amazing Jason and the rest of the team at Massage Therapy Center of Winnetka are. They are flexible and offer many times in terms of scheduling, have a large knowledge of the body, and so kind! I've been a client since probably 2016 and I am so sad I had to move. I'll be back whenever I can!

I go to Paul Rehder specifically for Kelly (stylist) and Dawn ( colorist) These women are AMAZING at making my hair gorgeous! Kelly's haircuts are perfection. They last so long. I probably only need to come every 4 months but go more often because Kelly is lovely! Dawn always knows how to give my color what it needs. Color can be tricky especially with highlights. But she always nails it. Plus she warm and funny.

Cynthia Yosef is an excellent colorist and stylist who recently picked up a couple of days working at Bliss. I have generally believed many of the best colorists are in downtown Chicago. Cynthia works normally out of the west loop. I had another colorist in the loop I liked but had to switch to Cynthia about two years ago. Best move I ever made. I get many compliments on my hair.
cristina was my stylist and she gave me a terrific blowout. i had a really good massage shampoo as well. the salon is bright, clean, and parking is easy. i was taken on time and finished quickly with a great style.
