“Hector and the staff were great! Tops' price, service, quality and insstallation were weel done.We had our 20-year-old roof replaced 11/2/2023 by Top to Bottom. All in all it was a pleasant experience.Quoting:• Called 4 local roofing contractors 9/18 for quotes to replace the roof• Received 3 quotes: One contractor never responded; one contractor flew a drone over the house; two – including Top to Bottom - got up there and did an “old school inspection”.• Inspections done and quotes submitted by 9/22.• Samples of different manufacturer’s shingle styles and colors were quickly supplied to help our decision.• Accepted Top’s quote 9/25. All quotes received were for identical services, but different prices.Customer Service• Top suggested I file an insurance claim because there was evidence of wind and hail damage. They participated in the insurance inspection.• Top agreed to apply to Warrenville for a building permit and manage all the inspections.• Top was available to answer all our questions and kept us informed of the progress.Replacement Day• The Top crew showed up on time, but the delivery of the shingles was delayed. The guys got out the leaf blowers to remove the snow and start the shingle tear off. They were unable to finish the first day and returned early the second day to finish the job.• All plantings withing 8 to 10 feet of the house were covered with tarps for protection.• Clean up was very complete and orderly.Final Permit Inspection• The Warrenville Permit Inspection was completed and passed 11/6.Service: Roof repair for storm & wind damage“

“STEC fixed a broken bathroom vent pipe in my attic. Instead of reconnecting the 10 ft flexible tube, they shortened it to 3 ft and vented out of the roof nearby. The point I am making is they fixed the issue in such a way that it should not recur. They worked in 100 F temperature in the attic in cramped condition.Edson was my lead contact person, very responsive on the phone, good to work with. Receptionist was very helpful in fitting in what was a small job in their schedule.“

“Our project was done in two phases: New Roof in May '23; Windows / Siding / Soffit / Fascia / Gutters in early August. The work was done VERY professionally. The crew did a great job of determining issues on our original construction (the house is 35 years old) and remediating necessary issues. They did a great job of cleaning up daily and they communicated with us the entire way. TJ is outstanding. He offered us options and suggestions for colors, materials and styles, and he and his crew queried us mid-job to ensure we were informed and we made informed decisions that had to be made. A big point I want to offer is that TJ is a stand-up guy that took responsibility for some damage (that wasn't necessarily his team's fault) wreaked by the July storms. It impacted gutters that were temporarily configured between the two jobs. He was contacted at 7:00AM on a day and his crew was on-site 3 hours later to review what was going on. AND he made right to help repair the damage. You can't ask for more. The workmanship is excellent, the quality is excellent, the materials are top-notch, the project was completed in the estimated time frames and on budget. He gave us next steps for taking care of our attic insulation to put a finishing touch on the work and ensure that the new soffits provided correct ventilation. We rate TJ and company HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and we will have him back to replace the rest of our windows.Services: Gutter installation“
“I first contacted them last year for roofing repair and they were really quick, reasonable quote and made the whole process easier. While they were repairing my roof Patrick came to check up on their progress and noticed the back of my house roofing is different then my front and gave me a quote to fix that. I agreed to the quote but said I couldn't do anything till the summer of 2022. Patrick said no problem the quote will be good till then. Fast forward to May and he got in contact with me to see if I was still interested.Now here is why I highly recommend them. They were so patient with me while I dealt with my HOA approval that instead of May it took till July for them to do my roof, AND the quote never expired. Melissa was their contact person and she was such a joy to work with. She returned my phone calls and emails in a timely fashion. Patrick would answer my text when I had questions. The guys who came and did my roof were respectful and hardworking.
