I am a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R physician), also called a physiatrist. My specialization is in sports medicine, outpatient musculoskeletal medicine and pain medicine. My specific focus is on decreasing my patients’ symptoms while allowing them to maximize their function and return to a full, rewarding life without surgery. I do not want to simply manage my patients’ pain; our mutual goal should be to make every attempt possible to alleviate their pain from a conservative care or non-operative perspective and do so as naturally as possible. Limiting the use of medications that mask a patient’s pain and providing efficient and accurate care is our mutual goal.
