“I have an 11k aft home with steep inclines/many planes with a turret and had hail damage over the whole roof. Had a few estimates but chose Durable…. They just finished and it looks awesome - better than before. Owner helped me pick the color, type of shingle, and they had the roofing done in 2 days!!! Then an additional 1.5 days to do the gutters. No mess during work and no damage to plants and shrubs. I am really happy with the result and would highly recommend…“

“Zack does an excellent job from start to finish, whether big or small projects- it doesn't matter. We provide electrical services to him and he is great to work for. He does it right and does not cut corners (unless you specifically ask him to cut corners, like for our new crown molding!) I asked about a tricky installation to a sloped ceiling at our house. We had called 4 carpenters who said that it was impossible without putting transition blocks in the corners. It was a small job, so we weren't sure that Zack would have time. He said that it was within his wheelhouse and got us scheduled to the first opening he had. Zack texted on the way to confirm and set up tarps once he arrived. After a practice cut and a few modifications, he got to work. He is incredibly patient, but efficient at the same time. When he finished there were a several little triangle cuts in the trash and he never needed the spare 12 footer that we bought just in case. It turned out perfectly and we get all kinds of compliments about our updated great room!“

“I had a very challenging older kitchen project. This included putting in a ceramic tile floor around existing vintage oak cabinets and also adding counter and backsplash. Taurus was able to problem solve around the unique issues of the kitchen to provide a beautiful new look. Steve provides excellent communication in a consistent and timely way throughout the project and comes out to supervise the work professionals. I could not have trusted this project to just anyone.“

“Furnace inducer went out. Had different HVAC company come out to confirm and quote a truly ridiculous price. Called a couple more and despite the fact I had the model # and serial, nobody willing to quote price unless I paid for a "diagnostic" fee for them to come out. Mid City was willing to do so, the price was less than the original quote and he even suggested an option to try which, if it worked would mean they wouldn't do the work. That option didn't work, and Keith at Mid City ended up replacing the inducer. His honesty and fairness is the type of treatment from the trade industry that we need more of lately. Thanks Keith, already a neighbor will be calling you around AC season.“

“We are delighted with all three of the large projects All Around Home Improvements has completed on our 1894 Queen Anne: a porch restoration, a complete window replacement and a gut rehab of an old bathroom. Scott Savel is an able and thorough craftsman who deals calmly with the "surprises" an old house frequently holds and works meticulously to restore old details. Most of all, I'm impressed by the intelligence and enthusiasm he brings to his art. For example, he worked from a faint shadow on our front siding to reproduce the embellishments on the porch posts that existed when our house was built 119 years ago. He found an ingenious way to make a bathtub fit in a space that was 1/2 inch too small. He arrives on time. His estimates have been accurate. His advice has been invaluable. I recommend All Around Home Improvements without reservation!“

We were finishing our basement and needed drywalling, baseboards and flooring done along with some new stairs.Every step of the way they were there on time and completed each phase ahead of schedule. “I can't say enough good things about Schreck Kitchens. My wife and I went in with a few questions, looking at options and met Craig. We weren't looking for an entire kitchen of new cabinets but were in need of trying to match some existing cabinets we were reusing and needed just a couple new cabinets for an island we were installing.It didn't matter that we weren't doing the entire kitchen to them, we were treated so wonderfully and the staff was so knowledgeable and professional. Craig helped us every step of the way - answering question after question and never making us feel like a bother. He came by our house - listened to our ideas that we were thinking about and gave us real feedback about what was good, what was bad and why certain things may/may not turn out. He provided us some ideas and things we hadn't considered that worked out wonderfully.In a fun twist - when we tore into the walls of the kitchen during the remodel, we found a paper tacked to the studs - Schreck Kitchens had installed the original cabinets in our home that we were reusing (and adding a few new ones to)! Craig knew the installer as he had just retired recently - but still came in to occasionally help with jobs because he loved doing it. We all shared a laugh over that.The value, knowledge, friendliness and professionalism from Schreck Kitchens is something you don't find often these days. I don't often leave reviews - but in this case, I have to. Our experience here has ensured that if we need any kitchen related stuff / cabinet related stuff?
