Nancy and Gail took the time to explain options and respond quickly to what became a changing situation. The home health aides were all pleasant, competent, and respectful. They offered assistance as needed, and made the experience of being dependent less difficult. In particular Sophie went above and beyond to help identify solutions to problems, write up a care plan, and made getting help with bathing and personal care pleasant rather than embarrassing.“

“My experience with Care in the Home was the best. My mom had surgery and care in the home was the Home Health company assigned to her. my mom was discharged on a Saturday. I called the number provided and I spoke to someone named Tracy and she got the ball rolling. My mom had an exceptional nurse, Thierry. She was very attentive and just wonderful. She even volunteered to pick my mom’s meds once. She coordinated my mom’s care with the doctor and got all my mom’s medical needs taken care of. Juan and Ewa were my mom’s physical therapists and they were more than wonderful. They got her back in shape in no time. I’m more than grateful for the care my mom received from Care in the Home. I think they are the best home health company in the Chicagoland area.“

“As my father aged his main goal was to remain in his home as long as possible. In order to help satisfy his request we knew it was time for 24/7 in-home help. We reached out to Touching Hearts and met with John. John assured us that they would be partners in the process and that he would find the best possible match for us. I found that to be spot-on If the match did not fit or we had other concerns he would find a suitable replacement. Over the course of 2 years we did request a few changes. John provided an immediate response and a new caregiver was provided. In the time we worked with Touching Hearts we were never left uncovered if one of the caregivers was ill or had a conflict. We reached a point where staying in the home was no longer possible but the transition provided by Touching Hearts provided us with the opportunity keep our dad in his house a few more years.
