“Our vet is closed on Wednesdays and we had an emergency with our puppy of course on a Wednesday. I called North Center in a panic to see if they would help us out. Dawn was so incredibly kind. She let me have my panic attack (and cry on the phone with her), she empathized with the situation, and then she got us right in. The entire experience, from start to finish, was excellent. I'm seriously considering switching vets to them for this reason.“
“Dr. Mitchell is very kind & professional. She heard out all of my concerns and agreed to start with the least intervention possible and fully discussed more aggressive options going forward for my elderly cat's behavior issues related to living with our toddler. Very affordable, and she discouraged an unnecessary vaccination which I was grateful for. I highly recommend her for cat care!“

“I've only gone to Wicker Park Veterinary for a few months and they've already done so much for me. My rescue Walter is usually petrified of the vet, but has now tried to drag me over to the vet just to say hello. They were patient when he was really agitated getting his blood drawn and worked with me to figure out the right medication to have calm visits.Most recently, I woke up realizing I'd left his anxiety meds at mother's house in Indiana. I called the vet and had replacement meds in hand within an hour, and was still able to make my flight that morning.Walter and I appreciate them so much!“

“Northwest Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond for the special care of my dog, Bear. He is a purebred German Shepherd with pituitary dwarfism. I have been to many vets, and NW were the ones to properly diagnose him and continue to find ways to make sure he stays healthy despite statistics of his diagnosis. “I can't speak more highly of Duke Animal Hospital! I had a very scary emergency with my dog and we live close by. We are not currently clients of Duke but given the emergency they took my dog right away and could not have been more attentive and helpful. He ended up having to go a second day for treatment, and they were so kind the whole time. I have been here many times over the eight years I have lived here, and they have always been this way. They truly care about your pet, and even do a call the next day to check in on them. I would recommend this vet to anyone who has a pet, they truly are wonderful.“

“Companion cares very much about the wellbeing of your pet! I took my cat here for a bladder stone removal surgery and for medical boarding following the surgery. They did a great job and I can tell that the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you and your pet. I saw where my cat was boarded and it was the cleanest vet / boarding situation I had ever seen.
