We had no idea how wonderful a caregiver company and caregivers could be. We have 24/7 staffing for our loved one. Throughout the week we have a schedule that rotates between 5 CNAs. “Having past experience with The Key caring for an elderly parent we called them when I unexpectedly needed some care following surgery. An excellent decision! Nancy and Gail took the time to explain options and respond quickly to what became a changing situation. The home health aides were all pleasant, competent, and respectful. They offered assistance as needed, and made the experience of being dependent less difficult. In particular Sophie went above and beyond to help identify solutions to problems, write up a care plan, and made getting help with bathing and personal care pleasant rather than embarrassing.“

“This is directed to LPN'S, RN'S, Respiratory Tech's...If your a new Grad, or considering a change I would highly recommend that you give Independence Plus a phone call. They are growing and are short staffed, THEY WILL interview you! I have some nice things to add here but before I do, I wanted to address a review on here that makes no sense. Someone wrote on here that the Corporate Office is messy & smelly? This is the farthest thing from the truth. The Office is shared & right in the heart of Oak Brook, a quarter mile up the road from the Mall. The Facility is big, wide open with a lot of room, Gorgeous! They deck the place out with a modern look, they actually have couches if you need a little extra comfy! I read another review on here that said they have a meditation room for staff, pretty cool! I did not have the privilege of seeing that. They did give me a tour & the facility is a top-notch Corporate Office in the heart of Oak Brook, you cant get any nicer! Remember that a lot of company reviews actually come from disgruntled x-employees who could not fit in, or step up their own game, so they like to write nasty reviews? I would encourage you to do what I did, simply look at the reviews for Independence Plus, than pull up all their competitors in the area.. Independence Plus beats them ALL go look for yourself, please. I could end the review here but I wanted to write a little more about the tour I had and the People I met. I did not get the chance to meet the Owner, but I had the privilege of meeting with four of her top Managers. Everyone I met was very kind & treated me as if I was someone special, I am not. I hope the Owner takes the time to read all this. She should be very proud of the Patient First business model that she created from scratch. I hope she appreciates her kind Staff, she is lucky to have them all. Keep doing what your doing Independence Plus!“
