We enrolled to help our younger son overcome his shyness at school and it has really helped him gain some much needed confidence. His teachers at school have noted a change in him and we truly believe it’s because of the skills he learned at Taekwondo. In addition to the physical movements they learn, they also teach the children about respect, focus and teamwork. We love Flying V!“

This spring, I enrolled her in camp and she absolutely loved it. She participated in a variety of fun, active games and arts and crafts. Master Roger, Instructor Michelle, and all the leaders continuously strive to provide a wonderful experience for all the students. They motivate my daughter to reach her goals in class, which then helps her at home and school. Her self-confidence has increased when speaking in front of people and making new friends. She recently volunteered to be the first speaker at her spring concert. We are very happy to see all the progress she has made! Thank you to the Chang’s Taekwondo team.“

1417 Lake Ave, Wilmette“**** We have been part of the Agbon Martial Arts family in Wilmette since 2020, and I can't say enough about how wonderful this experience has been for our two kids. Master Mary Ann and Master Fernando have been incredible instructors, guiding our children through private classes with a perfect balance of discipline, encouragement, and fun. Their expertise and dedication to teaching go beyond just the physical aspects of martial arts; they truly care about instilling confidence, respect, and perseverance in every student. Our kids have grown not only in their martial arts skills but also in their self-esteem and overall character, thanks to the supportive and nurturing environment that Master Mary Ann and Master Fernando create. If you're looking for a martial arts school that is as committed to your child's personal growth as it is to teaching high-quality techniques, Agbon Martial Arts is the place to be. We are so grateful for the positive impact this school has had on our children's lives!“

677 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines“Firstly, if Ma'am or Sir end up reading this, I have to say that I'm sorry I didn't share a reason for my sudden departure from lessons. I had been stewing on it for a while, as High School drew closer and closer to beginning, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to focus on both. That conflict of interests ultimately made me enjoy these lessons less and less, as I was naively afraid to directly voice my concerns, and ended up saying nothing like the young and dumb teenager I was. I probably should have written this review much earlierSecondly. Having spent so much time here, I can safely say that it is one of the most welcoming, honest, and family-like groups I've ever been a part of. Practicing, training, sparring, and learning together always felt wonderful thanks to how much each of us got to bond with one another, form friendships, etc. Not only is this an excellent place to learn Tae-Kwon-Do, it is an excellent place to meet people you genuinely enjoy engaging and interacting with, especially Sir and Ma'am, who are the best instructors a student could ask for.I apologize that it has taken so long for me to say much of anything after my departure, there is no excuse for that, and even less for not sharing the reason for it prior to doing so. I cannot apologize enough for that, truly, I cannot- E. Rodriguez“

6344 W Gunnison St, Chicago“Frank is an exceptional instructor who takes the time to understand each child's physical and mental abilities. He teaches the fundamentals of Martial Arts, as well as the importance of respect and discipline, which are equally important. The facility is well-managed, and the customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this place.“
“At the moment I like the way that teacher Pedro Cardenas teaches, it seems that he is a psychologically and physically prepared person, he has a lot of respect for his students, now the lady who is in charge of collecting and I don't know what else lacks a lot of knowledge so re education of human relations, she does not have a professional way of telling you things, they do not explain anything to you and all the time she is the one who is right, it is good that she is not a teacher otherwise she would have already taken my daughter out of here.“

The sensei Marek is very kind, genuine and shows how much jiu jitsu can positively impact a person if they simply decide to step on the mats. Try a class, you won't regret it and it just might change your life for the better.“

We saw several Hawaiian dances and heard a little of Hawai'I 's history and traditions. Because there were several people celebrating their birthday's, 2 people where brought up on stage to dance. It seemed as though the whole restaurant was one big party. My family certainly enjoyed the experience. The food was okay, shredded pork, salmon and breaded chicken were served with white rice and a macaroni noodle salad.“

36 Skokie Valley Rd, Highland Park“I have been practicing Kungfu at the temple since Jan 2019. I am coming up on 3 years. I still love it and continue to grow. Since then, I have lost 60Lbs and cured type II diabetes and eliminated high cholesterol. This was my intended goal and Sifu and Tom were instrumental in helping me reach my goals. But the Temple of Kungfu is more than that. It's about personal growth, being your best self, mentally, spiritually and physically. Your Kungfu travels with you. The Taoist lessons learned apply to everyday life. I am equipped with an array of skills and tools that I apply daily. It's about learning who you are, what you can achieve and constantly setting new goals for yourself. The Temple is about growing into the best version of yourself. After spending years in the health club, I can honestly say, I can never go back. I learn at the Temple and practice daily at home. Sifu has given me an arsenal of knowledge and techniques to work on. Depending on what I feel I need to work on I practice; Qigong forms, Tai Chi, Splashing Hands, Hsing-I and meditation, Shih Shui. In the near future, I will look forward to learning some Bagua as well as more advanced techniques. All-the-while healing the mind, body and spirit. If you are serious about your health and want the tools to mitigate stress and be a happier person then I highly recommend Kungfu and the Temple.“

Many parents practice alongside their kids. It's a great environment for kids to grow up in. It's very impressive watching the black belts do their katas in unison. We've been very happy with the teachers and the program. The owner/sensei is very friendly and welcoming. No complaints!“

“I'm a newbie to Martial Arts. Was nervous because I was expecting the Cobra Kai, but Erik (instructor) is more like a younger and much taller Mr. Miyagi. I'm sure he doesn't want me comparing the Dojo to the Karate Kid.. but what do I know. I'm a newbie. Regardless, I had fun and got a vigorous workout. Will definitely be back.“
“Top Level has, in my experience, the kindest and most helpful people I've ever met. I mainly train at another gym, however, If I didn't have know the people at my gym from years prior, and went into things blind, Top Level might have been where I chose to stay. The Environment Bernie, Leon and the other team members create is about the best thing you could ever ask for. Whether you're looking to just get a work out in, or want to become a professional fighter, top level has the ability to cater to anyone. Really can't say enough good things about the place. As long as I train I'll be going to Top Level, and I encourage anyone who is wondering about getting into legit martial arts to try top level out.“
