I had an excellent experience at the Global Pain and Spine Clinic in Niles after injuring my shoulder skiing. The staff was professional and efficient, quickly arranging an MRI and diagnosing my issue. The doctor performed a cortisone shot with great precision and care, which relieved my pain and allowed me to get back on the slopes the next week. As a Spinal Cord Injury since 2018, I was so fortunate to find the team here at Global. I had already accepted the fact my whole life would revolve around my pain. I never even knew how much pain I was in until it was relieved. As three year patient of Shirley Ryan and Northwestern day rehab/outpatient recovery, I can honestly say there are a handful of PTs and doctors just as good as those two hospitals. All the PTs are fantastic. I've been fortunate to work with Emily, who's on a different level. By far the smartest, most challenging, most prepared at her job PT since in inpatient. The staff working the desk are the nicest, easiest to work with people on the planet. I got in NEXT DAY, and left that day, in FAR less pain... After one session. Very innovative approach. Willing to work with you. The boss is a boss. You can tell the staff looks up to her. Great vibe. Very lucky. Five stars and counting.
