“I think it's time to update my review since I've been a member at Club Pilates South for six years now. I think my long-running membership says a lot. The club has 12 reformers, a one-on-one room for private training and a bathroom. There are no lockers, but the small reception area has cubbies to store your personal belongings. There are multiple levels of workouts and types of workouts as well. You can conveniently schedule your workouts on the Club Pilates app. There are varying levels of membership as well. I am an unlimited member, which means I can go between any of the Club Pilates studios of this particular owner. The front desk staff and managers at both South and North are always welcoming and friendly. The Pilates instructors vary slightly in their teaching techniques, but they excel at providing full body workouts using the various Pilates equipment like the reformer, chair, springboard, TRX, bosu, box and various bands, circle and fit ball. The instructors are very knowledgeable and go through intensive training. They keep a watchful eye on their clients for proper form and safety making modifications if a client is dealing with an injury like me. Since my knee injury, I went back to level one workouts, but still feel that I get an intense and effective workout, never the same and always varying. That's what I love about Pilates. Workouts never get stale and are full body workouts. The owner Eric cares about his members. Not only does he find the best instructors and staff, Eric provides incentives for his members and recognizes their achievements. It's motivating to see your name move up the achievement board to the top 1000 milestone mark, and it's fun to see your achievement on their social media. I can't say enough good things about Club Pilates South and Club Pilates North Studios. Eric also added a third location, Club Pilates Plainfield. I haven't worked out there, but I'm sure it's just as fabulous as the South and North studios. If you're looking for a clean workout facility with top notch instructors providing an effective full-body workout with some fun and laughter sprinkled throughout, I would highly recommend Eric's clubs.“

“Big fan of Shyft! Kyla is my instructor and does a fabulous job. I walk away from our reformer class feeling so great. Stretched, worked out and more focused. As someone who had their knee reconstructed, I love the low impact work out that really builds some heat. The studio is quaint, clean and quiet which I appreciate. Love it so much here I got a monthly membership, I highly recommend anyone who wants to try a class to sign up for a drop in or community class to try it, you'll love it!“

“I have been working with trainer Paul Tolentino. As an 80+ woman with no gym experience I was reluctant to work with a young man. Paul is an amazing trainer well versed not only in exercise but in physiology of body and nutrition. He has opened my eyes and encouraged me to the need, despite my age, to work hard. He has never made me feel anything but positive about my accomplishments plus he has a great personality and seems to have the respect of many clients. I enjoy my sessions with him. He's a plus to LA Fitness“
