The first place wanted $100 (non refundable) just to LOOK at the hard drive - pass. Another spot said they had to send the drives out to a "clean room." Fair enough, I'm glad I did.Luckily, he quickly figured out I just needed an adapter to copy the data, no disk recovery needed (yay).
