451 W Northwest Hwy, Palatine“Last week was my first time training here, I walked in with an uneasy feeling about going to a new gym. While I was waiting, I walked around the premise to get myself comfortable. The equipment was clean and spread out. there wasn't as much traffic meaning people at the hour I went. I couldn't contain my laughter about how many turtles where in that building lol.As I walked around I finally met Kyle in the back room where he was doing massage therapy on a client. He was very welcoming and showed me around the place. From there I went to the back room to change to get ready for my work out! I signed a liability form to ensure that they are not responsible for any injuries and so on. As I was putting my phone away, I was told to download an app to help keep record of my heart rate while I exercise. NEAT. Also He was so ever kind to let me borrow the apple charger due to my cell phone running low on battery.He made me do a series of upper body work out movements knowing about my past shoulder injury he made sure to go easy. Moving on, I performed the exercises given as he watched my form and recorded the kg used on the white board.The work out was great, he had me do:Facepullsseated cable rowsSome sort of resistant pulley machinea series of 4 different ab work on the vibrational machinechest press machineand to finish off; a core machine and a squat for 2 min on the power pad.ab“

728 S Rand Rd, Lake Zurich“In 2022, some newly diagnosed health issues triggered a series of surgeries and complications which severely limited most of my physical activity for eight months. When I was ready to resume exercise, I knew I needed help, although I have my own well-equipped home gym. RF has not only helped me get back to a base level of fitness, I have exceeded previous personal benchmarks. I do a lot of bicycling in the summer, and thanks to Sean and his team, I felt stronger on the hills last summer than I had in over ten years, despite having missed the entire previous cycling season. Even though the workouts are in a small group setting, my sessions are tailored to address my unique capabilities and limitations. The workouts are designed to be challenging and varied, while carefully crafted to limit the possibility of injury and potential setback. I have enjoyed doing and learning a lot of exercises I have never previously done, and I appreciate Sean’s attention to the importance of flexibility, in addition to strength. To that end, I have also benefitted greatly by supplementing my workouts with some ProStretch sessions. I feel truly blessed to have found the aptly named “Restoration” Fitness, and I look forward to consistent and continuing progress at RF.“

“I recently tried out the BURNBarre class here. It was my first group exercise experience and I absolutely LOVED it! Booking the class through the MindBody app was very easy. When I first arrived Sarah greeted me right away and helped me settle in. She gave me a quick tour and showed me where all the equipment was, and also gave me a rundown as to what the class format would look like. The space was clean, organized and inviting. Renee taught the class, and she had great energy! Modifications for exercises were welcomed and encouraged which I was so grateful for! I am basically starting from scratch and was nervous that I would not be able to keep up. Overall, I had a great experience and cannot wait for my next class. Great local spot!“
