“I am a very picky physician and signed up for Cremation Society of Illinois pre-paid plan years ago for myself, my wife and my mother. When my wife recently passed away they provided superb and timely service. The funeral director, Stephanie Smedbron, was kind, warm and explained the process very well. Everything went smoothly and was handled with dignity and almost daily updates were given by phone or email during the entire process. I would highly recommend them as the only company in Illinois who owns their own crematorium with certified workers. They also followed up after the cremation process was complete just to see how I as the surviving spouse was doing emotionally. That meant a lot to me. I will continue to be a long time customer and hopefully won't need their services for many years.“

“My family and I unfortunately had to plan a funeral in early January, 2024. It was sudden and unexpected. We were a mess. Mike Williams helped us through the process with an unparalleled and exceptional level of professionalism and empathy and kindness. Truly, this man has found his calling. It is so important for the person helping you through planning final services for a loved one to be nice, and I didn’t understand how much so until I was forced to be aware of it. I am so grateful that this funeral home and Mike Williams was the person there with us, and he made such a terrible time easy and clear. We knew exactly what to expect and when, understood costs, he only gave advice when we clearly needed guidance or was asked. There were so many details that mattered: people could choose to plant a tree in honor of our passed loved one, flowers sent for the service were later broken up and delivered to local nursing homes, transitions were handled by Mike perfectly… I cannot imagine a better place of business for such hard life moments, and cannot recommend them, and Mike Williams, enough.“

“The moment my family and I had to make a decision on a funeral home for our father it broke our hearts. Our father transitioned quite fast and at that moment we choose Frederich-Jones funeral home in Naperville il. At the time of death Friedrich- Jones appeared at the hospice facility fairly quick at around 1:00 am in the morning. The transition was flawless and Mike the funeral director was compassionate & consoling. As this was our first time planning a funeral the process was explained throughly and customized to fit our budget. The funeral was intimate and natural which our family loved. Everyone from Tom & Clayton exceeded our expections and that I am grateful for. One of the owners Stephanie gave her condolences which I appreciated. We miss our Dad immensely. “I thought I knew where the grave was but walked and walked and did not find it. Went to the office and the lady (I am sorry I did not get her name) not only gave me the information but had a grounds person meet me and show me where the grave was located. Florentino met me and we chatted. He remembered (!!!) doing the ground work for the person that was buried there. I know he was telling me the truth because he told me the person was a very large man. He would not have known that if he were just trying to tell me a story. Maybe he remembered because the burial was huge and heavy (!!!), but it was amazing that he remembered and shared that memory. My friend died in 2005!!!! What a memory. Thank you so very much for sharing.“
