“In 2022, some newly diagnosed health issues triggered a series of surgeries and complications which severely limited most of my physical activity for eight months. When I was ready to resume exercise, I knew I needed help, although I have my own well-equipped home gym. RF has not only helped me get back to a base level of fitness, I have exceeded previous personal benchmarks. I do a lot of bicycling in the summer, and thanks to Sean and his team, I felt stronger on the hills last summer than I had in over ten years, despite having missed the entire previous cycling season. Even though the workouts are in a small group setting, my sessions are tailored to address my unique capabilities and limitations. The workouts are designed to be challenging and varied, while carefully crafted to limit the possibility of injury and potential setback. I have enjoyed doing and learning a lot of exercises I have never previously done, and I appreciate Sean’s attention to the importance of flexibility, in addition to strength. “I been with the doc for a little over a year now. I initially came in with lower back problems and then some shoulder problems as well. The good doctor provides specific 'workouts' to help your body improve itself. He has a huge pool of knowledge that will get you back in the gym pain free in no time. I personally started seeing improvements after a session or two. I will likely do these exercises forever. I would recommend this establishment to anyone living in the area. “This is the average joe's gym you probably didn't know you needed in your life. I tried big box gyms and classes in the past but they never really stuck for me and eventually I would lose interest and move on. I have been working with Kyle Hart for over 3 years and counting now.The workouts are guided and specific to each client. Its a fraction of the cost of a standard personal trainer but the same type of quality. He has a focus on full body health and sustainable results. He works with people of all ages and levels of personal fitness and makes an environment you want to be a part of. Could not recommend trying him out for a free session more. The results are there for me and my family.“

“JP Wood Martial Arts is a fantastic place for both kids and adults who want to learn Teakwondo. Both Mr and Mrs Wood are great with the kids and love to joke around, but keep professional. They also teach discipline, integrity and focus. No one wants anyone to fail and the other students jump in the help when needed. We have told many friends/people about them and have made new friends as well. My boys have been here for over a year now and love coming. Higher belts/older age get to use sparring equipment which is a great time to watch. I highly recommend this place for anyone.“

“I am a professional athlete and have been doing yoga on and off for years. Mainly out of state but have now lived in Illinois the last 5-6 years and I am so happy to have came across Melt Pilates & Hot Yoga! My first class was with Agnes. Her energy and verbal cueing are just tips of the iceberg when talking about her wonderful class. Iv taken other classes and have seen other instructors at various locations but Agnes’s class sits on top amongst them all. You feel her love and passion for yoga simply by listening to her speak and guiding you through her class. In the hour or hour and 15 minutes you have with her, she will not only take your body on a challenging and unique journey but also the ability to inspire your yogi soul! After taking my first class with her, she is the only instructor I prefer to take classes with and when I am out of town and take a yoga class elsewhere, I leave immediately thinking “it wasn’t like Agnes’s class”. It is hard to put into words the feeling I have when taking one of her classes, she is able to push you safely to limits you didn’t think you could reach, poses you were maybe not able to accomplish before and allows you to connect to your body in a way you have not done before. Leaving her class makes you a different person in the best way possible and makes you eager for more!“

She took me from not being able to swim one lap to doing a 1/2 marathon in 18 months. We have worked together for six years on all facets of training - core, weight training, weight loss..., swimming, running, cycling, cardio, stretching, golf training. Coach Ariel is a boxing beast in his own right, always patient with his students and eager to get his students to the next level. Master Ivan develops the next generation of young martial artists in taekwondo (“yes sir!”). And Elizabeth is always the first friendly face you get to see when you walk in — so helpful in answering any questions you might have. There are no egos or attitudes here. “My wife has PLS, a rare form of ALS, and while awful, in her case, not the horrible death sentence that ALS is. With insurance, PT and OT will only be covered for a short time, then you are screwed. Neurobalance works with you financially and their therapists look at things neurologically. They have a lot going on there as well, yoga, golf, boxing, etc.Everyone there is also kind and friendly. My wife has made some really great strides thanks to Neurobalance.“
“Tony has helped me achieve breakthroughs in my health. When my body is balanced, everything in my life becomes more enjoyable. Because of the work Tony has done, I am able to focus more on my work and actually enjoy going thru my day more because my body feels healed and capable again. Tony is extremely professional about his work. He does an amazing job explaining why the body functions or reacts the way that it does and then proceeds to address the situation at hand.
