“Genuinely so impressed by this vets office. They take great care when working with "difficult" or reactive animals. they truly care about creating a stress free environment for their patients. I felt heard and like I had great resources at my disposal. They also have a certified trainer on staff to help with dogs who require more attention and de-stressing. i've seen two of the vets at this practice and they both were on the floor with my dog petting him, talking to him and making sure he was comfortable. they also let me stay with him for the entirety of my appointment even when he needed to be sedated. Add two 6 month old recently adopted kittens who both had some unexpected issues and although they were booked up, managed to squeeze them in. We just had our first serious issue in 12 years. He had a cystotomy to remove a bladder stone. ( They found it while BEING CAUTIOUS BEFORE ANESTHESIA for a teeth cleaning session ). They kept in close contact with me throughout the day. When I picked him up I thoroughly understood everything I needed to do. They checked on us every day for the next 4 days! He was doing amazing the very next day! Dr. Leo is an amazing surgeon who, like I said, has amazing people around him.

I'm a really anxious, worrisome person. I'm not the "ideal" pet owner a vet would want to deal with. They put all of my stuff aside & think of my baby. I'm really grateful for every one of the people at Elk Grove Pet Clinic.

I hear there are vets that are owned by corporations. Why take the chance of losing the love & individual care my dog gets here?

“Have been bringing my dogs here since I was a little kid and the building was a lot smaller and it was on the side where the parking lot is know. Started seeing Dr. Windmill and Dr. Maves. Both excellent veterinarians! The building was knocked down and the new facility was built to offer more services. Dr. Maves retired and the staff is polite, caring and considerate to what your pets need. Have seen all the doctors and have no complaints what so ever. Dr. Felt is awesome we have our dogs see her now and she takes the time to examine, diagnose and discuss with us anything about them. If we have any questions she takes the time to answer them and makes sure we understand everything. I would recommend them to anyone to bring their pets to for excellent care.“

“I have gone to a plethora of different veterinary hospitals where I was not satisfied with their services and pricing. With the amount of positive reviews this clinic has received I decided to give it a go and honestly it’s been the best experience.The clinic is very small but everyone whether front desk, vet tech or veterinarian is very friendly and helpful. The only veterinarian that saw my pup was Dr. Franklin and boy oh boy was she amazing. This was the first time I have encountered a veterinarian who not only cared for the patient but the clients as well.For reference, I went in with my pup since she had some crusty looking skin on her hind legs. Being the worrisome dog mom I just had to take her in in case it was something more serious. Dr. Franklin checked her out and laid out ALL options of what we could do about her skin. She talked about least invasive to most invasive options, mentioned rough pricing, as well as gave her input on what she would recommend doing with what she saw. Dr. Franklin did an amazing job explaining everything and really took the time to answer any questions/concerns we had.Additionally, the pricing of the clinic is truly not bad and it makes it worth while knowing your pet is in good knowledgeable hands.I would recommend this veterinary hospital especially if you are looking for a smaller and quieter office.“

“Dr. Zink and his staff were great! My dog Finley was treated there for regular vet care and a surgery and we have always been really pleased with the care he has received. We only stopped coming because we moved to Texas. Big shout out to Karen and Julie who treated Finley like he was their own when he was being boarded. Knowing I was leaving him somewhere safe and reliable made traveling easier. Prices are standard for vets and they try to do everything they can do help out such as vaccine discounts on certain days. We will miss it!“

“Years ago all 3 of my cats got sick at the same time. I was beside myself and I had originally taken them to my regular vet, College Station Cat clinic. I'm a senior citizen and I had very little money. He prescribed an antibiotic but a week later she was no better. I called him back and he said the antibiotics were supposed to be good for 10 days and he wouldn't prescribe anything more . I had called again trying to get an emergency apt and they refused to see me and my cat He kept trying to pressure me into having dental work done for over $500. I decided to get a second opinion. Glendale Animal Hospital saw me right away, they had a charity fund available and wrote off part of the vet bill. They were very kind, compassionate, and understanding. They really helped me when I was desperate where my Vet of many years acted like he couldn't be bothered.“
