“My experience with Care in the Home was the best. My mom had surgery and care in the home was the Home Health company assigned to her. my mom was discharged on a Saturday. I called the number provided and I spoke to someone named Tracy and she got the ball rolling. My mom had an exceptional nurse, Thierry. She was very attentive and just wonderful. She even volunteered to pick my mom’s meds once. She coordinated my mom’s care with the doctor and got all my mom’s medical needs taken care of. Juan and Ewa were my mom’s physical therapists and they were more than wonderful. They got her back in shape in no time. I’m more than grateful for the care my mom received from Care in the Home. I think they are the best home health company in the Chicagoland area.“

“We have one caregiver from Home Instead/ Honor. Her name is Sharon Ly'burtus. She is amazing. My father connected with her right away. She is thoughtful and caring. She cares for my dad from 8 pm to 8 am four nights a week. She provides toileting help, dressing and undressing, and all mobility and transfer help she does it with grace and care of the details. What we like most is how much she engages with dad. Dad is 93 with advanced Parkinson's, and some heart issues. They talk about the past, sing songs together. Dad texted me this morning and said " I am up, dressed scrubbed and shaved. What a nice job Sharon does." I highly recommend her. We love her!“

“We used Compassion Home Care of Illinois for my mom post hip replacement surgery. Compassion Home Care of Illinois replaced a company that could not provide reliable care coverage, and they really stepped up to the plate! I called them the day before a holiday weekend, in the evening, and at 11AM the next morning we had replacement care givers. We had the same two care givers the entire time we used their service, and they could not have been nicer or more caring. They put the other agency to shame with the amount of work they did with and for mom in the short time they were there – they never slowed down!
