“I needed new windows for quite a while but thought I couldn't afford them; finally decided that the ones that threatened to fall right out of the house to the ground below could wait no longer. Called several replacement window companies for a quote. The gentleman that came out from Remodel Rangers was no-nonsense--didn't try to close me by offering me a one time deal that (coincidentally) ended that very day, or any of the other bullhockey that 'F-Co' attempted. The best part though, was that RR prices were so reasonable that I ended up being able to replace all of the windows, not just the desperate few. And from beginning to end it was a positive experience. The lead time wasn't outrageous, the installers were courteous and professional (one let me take his picture from inside the house with a smile and "thumbs up"), and I'm thrilled with my new windows. “We recently had all of our windows redone with new Marvin double-hung, custom built to match the look of our century-old house and optimized to reduce exterior noise as much as possible (cars and planes). Robert in particular did a phenomenal job working very closely with us and even went above and beyond catching some inconsistencies in our initial estimates from the manufacturer, ensuring that everything met our exact needs. We got quotes from quite a number of the local contractors, but none were as relaxed and supportive as him. It was the exact opposite of pushy.

On top of all that, the quote was solidly competitive and the installation was extremely well done. Every old house is unique and the crew did a terrific job on ours, both with the removal of the old windows and the installation of the new. Our neighbors can't seem to stop complementing how good they look, and how perfectly they match the character and appearance of the originals!

“We had such an amazing experience with A&D. Our converted attic second floor had always been significantly hotter than the rest of the house in the summer and colder in the winter, so we suspected that there was an insulation issue. We had been putting off doing any work because of the expense, but after a few leaks, we finally had to call it. We had a terrible estimate experience with another company who gave us only one (expensive) option that did not include any possibility of additional insulation. When I explained the issues we were having and our budget concerns to A&D, though, Ian gave me a thorough estimate for multiple different options, ranging from simply patching the leaks to a full tear-off with new insulation, all new plywood, and a new ventilation system. Because of how reasonable the price was and how comfortable Ian made us, we decided to go with the full tear off, and we're so glad we did. Even with everything they had to do, the job was completed in a single day, and the crew cleaned everything up perfectly. The difference upstairs from the insulation and ventilation is night and day: we no longer have that huge temperature jump on hot days, and it's just so much more comfortable. We also feel so much more reassured that we won't have any more leaks or other issues. Ian kept in touch throughout the process, from answering questions to texting us updates as the roof was being done. I seriously cannot recommend A&D enough, and I plan to use them for other projects in the future.“

I’ve worked with Home Improvements on three projects now. My two past projects (installing an entry door and a new roof on the house and garage), and the current project (installing a garage side door), were all quickly and expertly done, with no mess left behind. Julie made it extremely easy to book the appointment for the work (yes, an added bonus is that you can talk to a real person at this company!), and Mike (the sales rep) presented with me an honest and accurate estimate prior to starting any of the work. The prices are fair, and this is one of the few companies I've dealt with that consistently prioritizes customer satisfaction. I highly recommend using Home Improvements.

Mike and the workers were all professional and polite, and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with the job. Even the village building inspector remarked that the new door looked great, and this was a job that was well done.“

“We have a back door (Mastercraft) that had rotted out. I investigated replacing the door with an identical model but really wasn't completely satisfied. As a result we shopped around. The Door Store was our first - and turns out only - stop.

The team there walked us through the options (we wanted to match the other back door/window combination which limited our selection a bit. But TDS was able to find a nearly perfect match, which also happens to have more window area than the door/window it replace.

Once the installation was scheduled, installation took only about 2 hours, and left our house looking perfect, inside and out. No additional trim work required on our part.
