Dr. Barbara Carlson and her staff are absolutely amazing!! We have been with HSAH for ~18 years and have been guided and comforted along the way through wellness checks, minor surgeries, emergency care, and long term medical care. Cacha will always consider everyone of them as family forever! There isn't better concerned pet care in Chicago...and we remain eternally grateful for having been introduced to them early in our animal care journey! They are a gift to Chicago and the all the animal care providers in need!!
Dr. Carlson is hands down the best vet I’ve ever worked with. My two dogs and cat go to her. My dogs legs suddenly stopped working and she spent 2 1/2 hours working on him. She let us borrow a harness for him and checked on him throughout the week. She really cares for every animal that walks through those doors. I’d give this place ten stars if I could.
