“As of December 2023, it's $24 for a men's cut if you're a student. This place has been around since 1916 and has been passed between family members. It's the best men's cut in Evanston. So affordable, too. I've been to Floyd's as well. The cut here is just as good as Floyd's for $11 cheaper. The three people that work there have been there for decades. They know hair and customer service.“

“For a cheap haircut, go to sport clips. For a great value haircut, go to Joe's. I'm a man with long hair and I'm very possessive about who touches my hair, so whenever I move I dread finding a new barber. I've been to Joe twice, which is just about my 3 year record for repeat visits because Joe has given such good care to my hair and beard so I leave not only looking great but feeling refreshed. I love the hot towel and straight razor treatment. He gives a very nice haircut. I will be returning for as long as I live in Evanston.“

“I had some time in between appointments and I happened to be in Evanston. This was the best haircut I’ve had in years, Jay clearly knows what he is doing. The haircut took 14 minutes. This is the quickest haircut I’ve ever had and extremely impressive for a skin fade on the sides with longer on top. I will come out of my way to get my haircut here regularly.
