“My kid enjoy his classes, thanks to the coach for the fabulous coaching. Thank you National Karate.“
“Love the experience the trainers have! Very well taught.. Controlled dojo.. Krav has got easier because of the amazing trainers“
“I have been taking classes for almost a year and really enjoy it. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, they really make you feel welcome.“
“Our family loves Chang’s Taekwondo! My daughter has been a student here since 2022, and she has gained many valuable skills, both physical and mental. This spring, I enrolled her in camp and she absolutely loved it. She participated in a variety of fun, active games and arts and crafts. Master Roger, Instructor Michelle, and all the leaders continuously strive to provide a wonderful experience for all the students. They motivate my daughter to reach her goals in class, which then helps her at home and school. Her self-confidence has increased when speaking in front of people and making new friends. She recently volunteered to be the first speaker at her spring concert. We are very happy to see all the progress she has made! Thank you to the Chang’s Taekwondo team.“
“My 7 year old takes class twice a week hat the Bolingbrook location. The facility is well kept, clean, and organized. The instructors interact with students before class, ensuring engagement and safe play (so much that my son asks to arrive early each session). Classes are appropriately challenging and content varies as to keep learning new skills while reviewing previously learned techniques. Respect is earned and given from both teachers and students.“
“Wonderful place. Genuinely helpful and caring staff and instructors. My 10 year old daughter has gained confidence, balance and coordination in less than a year. Would recommend for anyone.“
“It's been a year now and my son is a purple belt. He is enjoying it very much. The instructors are awesome and really care about the kids. I would recommend Des Plaines Martial Arts to all. :)“
“JP Wood Martial Arts is a fantastic place for both kids and adults who want to learn Teakwondo. Both Mr and Mrs Wood are great with the kids and love to joke around, but keep professional. They also teach discipline, integrity and focus. No one wants anyone to fail and the other students jump in the help when needed. We have told many friends/people about them and have made new friends as well. My boys have been here for over a year now and love coming. Higher belts/older age get to use sparring equipment which is a great time to watch. I highly recommend this place for anyone.“
“KH kim school is Taekwondo the instructors are very good at teaching Taekwondo soon they will be breading in Hapkido which will make the school much better this is self-defense“
“We love our karate place. It's been 10+ years we are going there. My older son grow up here and it is absolutely best place to get your kids moving. Sensei Veronica is very dedicated and she knows how to handle even not so easy kids. She is very professional and great in organizing classes, camps and birthday parties. It is not only beneficial, but always fun too.“
“I was very skeptical about signing up my oldest for TKD because I was worried about how he would listen. This has been, by far, the best investment for him. The masters are engaging, passionate, and attentive to all the needs of the children. I'm so happy we found DKF. Master Adam and Master Sporanza are truly the best! At 4.5 years old I can already notice a huge difference in my sons behaviors and mannerisms at home.“
“Great place to learn Tae Kwon Do! Well kept, well run. They really care about their students.“
“The fighters and regular peeps of all ages training together so everyone gets better.Coach Mac and Richardo rock“
“Firstly, if Ma'am or Sir end up reading this, I have to say that I'm sorry I didn't share a reason for my sudden departure from lessons. I had been stewing on it for a while, as High School drew closer and closer to beginning, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to focus on both. That conflict of interests ultimately made me enjoy these lessons less and less, as I was naively afraid to directly voice my concerns, and ended up saying nothing like the young and dumb teenager I was. I probably should have written this review much earlierSecondly. Having spent so much time here, I can safely say that it is one of the most welcoming, honest, and family-like groups I've ever been a part of. Practicing, training, sparring, and learning together always felt wonderful thanks to how much each of us got to bond with one another, form friendships, etc. Not only is this an excellent place to learn Tae-Kwon-Do, it is an excellent place to meet people you genuinely enjoy engaging and interacting with, especially Sir and Ma'am, who are the best instructors a student could ask for.I apologize that it has taken so long for me to say much of anything after my departure, there is no excuse for that, and even less for not sharing the reason for it prior to doing so. I cannot apologize enough for that, truly, I cannot- E. Rodriguez“
“My son started at USMA 1.5 years ago and since then, my daughter and I have joined as well. We checked out several martial arts schools but were most impressed with USMA Glen Ellyn. They have helped my children develop confidence and strength as well as strengthen their discipline and respect towards others. All the instructors are great but Grand Master Lee exudes such a gentle authority. The students learn the art of taekwondo as well as the Korean culture. As an adult, I have enjoyed getting back into shape and building my strength as well as finding a group of adults that support each other.“
“Our kids have been taking taekwondo classes here for many years. We can see the progression and positive impact of taekwondo lessons from year to year. It helps their self discipline, persistence and confidence. Master Lee genuinely cares about the kids and we appreciate that very much. They always have fun during Taekwondo lessons.“
“The best. Both my sons, Tristan and Colin, earned their black belts here with the excellent training.“
“Sensei Chris is the best!! So much knowledge n constantly learning n passing his knowledge to his students HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! you don’t have to be Japanese to do karate RESPECT! Osu!“
“Headmaster Rusev runs the one of the most comprehensive and prestigious Martial Arts programs in the United States.Master Rusev is among the few Masters in the United States that holds a college degree from the University of Sophia in Martial Arts, and was a former Bulgarian National Team member. Parents looking for discipline, confidence building and self defense will find a comprehensive approach for overall mentoring and guidance. For anyone seeking discipline, self defense, or any Martial Instruction; Revolution Taekwondo receives my highest recommendation.“
“It's not Gracie Barra, it's Tiki Terrace now. My family and I shared a wonderful time together to celebrate 2 birthdays. We saw several Hawaiian dances and heard a little of Hawai'I 's history and traditions. Because there were several people celebrating their birthday's, 2 people where brought up on stage to dance. It seemed as though the whole restaurant was one big party. My family certainly enjoyed the experience. The food was okay, shredded pork, salmon and breaded chicken were served with white rice and a macaroni noodle salad.“
“I was a practitioner for about 15 years until the age of 18 and had to leave for college. I worked up to my second degree black belt and it took 15 years, so you can assume this school believes in the philosophies a martial arts school should: discipline, hard work and perseverance. I am currently 21 years old and I owe Hapkido my life as it taught me self discipline at such a young age and led me to carry those same philosophies throughout high school up into the present. I love Hapkido because of the culture this school produces. The culture of confidence, not arrogance. The culture of movement and life, not stillness. The culture of love, not hate. Grand Master Chang and Master Austria have given me life beyond my years. I highly recommend this school to anyone who cares about caring for themselves or their family. It focuses on self defense techniques that could literally save your life someday. This school is a place where kids can grow up and become leaders rather than followers. It is a place where you push yourself to be a better you. I can't stress how greatly appreciative I am of this wonderful school and all the amazing mentors I had. Do yourself a favor and sign up as soon as possible!“
“My nieces have been taking Taekwondo classes with Master Al for about 2 years I believe and have accomplished receiving their black belts within that time. The training they've gotten has been AMAZING! I'm always in awe whenever I'm in town visiting. I visited from Hawaii and Master Al has always remembered me whenever I drop in to watch their classes. He truly cares and loves what he does. My nieces truly love coming here! And they love showing me what they've learned! My nieces have gone to Nationals and he even scheduled for my nieces to do their Black Belt Promotion for when I was able to be in town for a visit.. which meant a lot to me! I recommend this place to anyone looking to put their kids in a sport because they will truly learn a lot.. not only about exercise and discipline.. but a lot they can take with them in life. Now I want to take Taekwondo! Thank you for all you do Master Al! Maddie & Kailees Aunt (Melanie)“
“Great place for training some real things.Professional trainers and nice people to train with!“
“I’ve been training at P3 for almost a year now (on and off due to life being chaotic) but every time I go in I’m always greeted with a hello and a smile from all the coaches! It always feels like I never even left! All the coaches are super kind and knowledgeable and are always willing to answer any and all questions you may have, with patience and understanding! I’ve met a handful of girls who are all super friendly as well and in my experience that can be hard to find sometimes at gyms. I’m super grateful for P3 and the few friends I’ve made in my time being there! If you are a woman, and find working with bigger, stronger men a bit intimidating they do offer a women’s only class every Wednesday at 7 and Friday at 5:30(I believe, call to be sure) that I really enjoy! 10/10 definitely recommend P3 to anyone on the search for a place that is welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and fun!“
“My daughter has been coming here for almost a year. She loves it and we love it as well! From the first conversation I had with Sensei Pat I knew that she was not only an amazing Sensei but an amazing person. My daughter has learned a lot and she is always eager to come to the dojo. I am so happy I found American Tiger Karate Academy.“
